It is [I]far[/I] better than the other weapons by a mile due to the massive ease of use.
The graph means nothing in this situation because more than half the shots fired from the arx or gl are never going to hit shit, while it's easy to hit with 90-100% of the plasma shots.

They really should reduce the projectile speed on that sucker. It looks like it's going faster than your average spinfusor disk.
Seriously, I've been in a few arena games from people who bought the Plasma Rifle. It's downright an unfair edge Raiders got now.

Arena is not the main part of the game and stuff shouldn't be nerfed or buffed due to it.
i think all they need change plasma gun is the hitbox, but not just reduce its size, but split it on 2 or 3 hitboxes, where one would be for direct hit with size of the real projectile or something like spinfusors, doing full 500 damage, others would be original hitbox but instead of doing full damage, do something like 200~300.
maybe change the air mail reward to only direct hits
i dont like how they've removed the glitch in the server selector so you could servers from everywhere

youre joking right? why should people with the weapon be rewarded for having shit aim? if theyre going to do some dumb shit like dealing damage because the projectile was close to you, then the might as well just make players have the hitbox of beowolfs so every no-aim scrub benefits from it.

when they fix the hitbox issue, yes it would be rewarding people with that weapon... why should missing still do damage just because you have the only weapon that does it

inheritance on this weapon make it quite hard to aim on high speeds, and when u and ur target arent going to same direction, on indoors is quite fair match with other explosives on this game,

but even if you assume 500 is level with say the spinfusor it doesn't balance because you will inherently do more damage with those glancing (~200) shots.
It isn't to hard to do Direct hits with the spinfusor, and 500 damage with 3times higher rof is way to much. Imo, fix hitboxes and reduce splash damage to a minimum.
I love the new smg, it's just so good for chasing.

Also, Hi-Rez does what the hell they want with balance in this game and do not listen to community much, I wouldn't expect a huge nerf. They think Juggernaut is underpowered, need I say more?

The bolt launcher does something like 877 for a direct hit and 600 for splash damage, 500 damage isn't too much for a direct hit, they just need to make the hitbox smaller so you have to actually aim it
they also need to just make it so you can't explode the jackal shots in mid air because that shit is so broken
Doesn't it already have reduced radius while in midair and deals only 250 damage if timed and shot perfectly?
make jackal mid-air explosions and possibly raider ones knock people around instead of doing damage (maybe make you fumble the flag?)

I've been killed so many times by it, it's near impossible to dodge mid air because you just have to change your whole path every time they fire

I fully upgraded reach but tbh I dont notice it at all
