Nova colt 4 lyf. Trust me, the plasma cannon is not astoundingly OP. They've actually done a really good job this patch.

had really fun game, 30 kills with beowulf on temple guarding the flag...even HoF switched to engineer so he could repair my tank...40 kills in total, probably most i ever had

Saying "-4%" is across the board, on every damage distance.

Anyone here actually tried the gladiator on CTF? Is it shit or good?

From what I've seen they're actually quite balanced, for indoors however, I don't know.

Unless you set traps in advance, but that's indoors again. Or hit in midair, which is quite difficult

I'm looking for a "Tribes: Ascend" Player who can get this account I have up to level 8 Sounds ridiculous and I know some will say "why not do it yourself?" but although I'm an alright player, I can't get to level 8 very quickly and I sort of need it soon! Well after the hype for this update all I can say is: Meh. Gladiator is ok but the Heavy spinfusor wins as jack of all trades, slower yes but way more powerful. The gladiator is just a arx buster with a reward of direct hits with lower area of effect. Plasma cannon is good, not op as the original raider plasm type and to tell the honest truth the plasma cannon is very well balanced. Still I will not change the nova colt over the plasma cannon just for the hitscan. And the best item from the update, the survival pack is a must have. There is NO excuse for not using this thing, 5 less energy is nothing and the heavy shield is not as good as the Raider. In the end is just and ok update but just that ok. Im still waiting for fractal mines and I was praying for those.

The update is great, and balanced surprisingly.

The nova blaster is pretty good indoors, in gen rooms and all. If you miss, it simply bounces off the walls and hits the target again!

nova blaster is pretty good for everything once you get used to the projectile speed, it gets really easy and fun to use
