How exactly is weapon progress calculated?
i read it was based on base exp. i might be wrong though and it's actually overall exp??
i read it was based on base exp. i might be wrong though and it's actually overall exp??
some people said its based on overall exp, not only the base. means boosted/vips get it faster
I play doombringer and for dueling that dumbfire rocket is fucking great at dueling. Perhaps a little TOO great. As for the chain cannon, needs a slower fire rate, there's not a concern-ably noticeable difference in firerate compared the the chain gun.

there should be an arena mode except you have to be skiing at above a certain speed or you explode
The techie's new smg is (going to be) way too good once people get used the the rate of fire.. I mean what the fuck, it does 120 dmage per hit, like the chain cannon, it's basically a chain cannon with a reload on a medium class, that's ridiculous, I killed doombringers faster than they could down me because they used the regular chain gun, and since I have much more mobility I could dodge much easier than they could.. That's my only concern so far, I love the titan launcher, finally a secondary for DMBs, the pathfinder's holdout shotgun is a bit too powerful if you place all shots though (you can 2 shot any medium, I think raider will be left with a fraction of health if he activates his shield with full energy).
-tribes broke-
full retard brutes that can't even spam fractals properly
i just got out of a pub game where a self-proclaimed "casual" tribes player that hasn't ever played in a pug or competitive match cried about the 10 second spawn time for sentinel's. haha.
The variants are based off of the stock weapons (the ones you get for free with the class).
yeah, I realized this after I bought the hammer because it glitched the models and showed the plasma cannon :(
They reduced the heavy bolt launcher to 42000xp? I want my 58000xp refunded dammit
If you went to a store and bought a £10 shirt and the next week they had a sale where the shirt was only £5, would you demand a refund of £5?
I may be a bit late on these ones: [t]http://i.minus.com/iHxEEeG6fB61c.png[/t]
If you went to a store and bought a £10 shirt and the next week they had a sale where the shirt was only £5, would you demand a refund of £5?
To be fair, Steam have refunded stuff like that. Not that HiRez are bound by magical Steam chivalry laws or anything though.
If you went to a store and bought a £10 shirt and the next week they had a sale where the shirt was only £5, would you demand a refund of £5?
Its not a sale, its a permanent change to the pricing.
So all the grenades old or new ones are from 4800 to 1800 xp Except proximity nades from soldier I got explosive nitron of path at 4800 xp Whiteouts are at 14000
Winter uzi is bad. The damage is almost the same (hell I almost didn't notice) , and the fire rate is slightly slower. Original Uzi is good for everything.
Winter uzi is bad. The damage is almost the same (hell I almost didn't notice) , and the fire rate is slightly slower. Original Uzi is good for everything.
Burst damage is a lot better
I like it when fire rate is slower and damage higher, I'm not sure how it works but I miss less with such weapons.
Titan Launcher is getting a nerf methinks.

out of ten.
Oh christ. Some of these "variants" are direct upgrades. My Rockwind does 120 damage and only has 10 bullets less. :v:
Apparently the DPS is the same as the normal according to bart
Then I'm personally going to have to say that Bart is full of shit. The Rockwind just eats through things so fast if your aim is good.
and other smgs doesn't?
Then I'm personally going to have to say that Bart is full of shit. The Rockwind just eats through things so fast if your aim is good.
It should be the same in general as the NJ5 so the RoF must not be as low as they think it is, he said it's *possible* that there is a bug with the RoF though
The techie's new smg is (going to be) way too good once people get used the the rate of fire.. I am a bit new to it so I miss a lot, but it does about twice as much damage as the normal one and I guess you could pretty much saw through enemies if you are good enough with it. Also, the sparrow is only 14000/15000XP and I think the shotgun was 48000XP  Anyway, the upgrade system seems to be successful. I wish they could bump down the prices on the original weapons, but now that I realize how much I actually spent on upgrades and the fact that I do not have to worry about it any more I guess is justifiable. Still, the mastering button is a bit of a ripoff sometimes; when I first bought the SMG and played the game, I earned 707XP, so I checked my stats the bar on my SMG had been filled by 707 points. This proves that XP earned in the game you used the item is equal to how much points you get to upgrade it. Anyway, to master my SMG, I needed about 25000 points in the bar and the XP price for it was 15000XP, that seems like a good deal, I spare 10000XP on that. Still, in reality, if you were to earn those when using your SMG, you would spare that XP, but if you mastered it right away when you bought it, you wouldn't spare yourself 10000XP, you'd just skip the playtime it is worth. Now think about this with the sparrow, which I stated earlier either cost 14k or 15k XP, then the price to master it would be equal to or higher than the price of the weapon, so you'd spent 30k XP on it. There are also weapons that require 15k points in the bar to master, but the price in XP to master it is 15k. That is a ripoff on your part; what you do is pay for skipping the playtime, but if you farmed to get the XP to pay for it you... whoop, lost my thought process there, you'd have mastered it anyway. Still, if I should have an conclusion, it would be this: The rockwind is OP and people who master their items are lazy capitalists.
Titan Launcher is getting a nerf methinks.
What? It needs a solid buff. If they made it so that you could control when you want to explode it, It'd be balanced.
What? It needs a solid buff. If they made it so that you could control when you want to explode it, It'd be balanced.
Its an extremely slight downgrade from the HBL. There's really no reason to use the HBL now unless you are chasing a tank for some reason.
buy explosive nitron while you can, only 5k xp
great my ping went from 30 to 250 with new patch. why you retards rating dumb
