"Flak" nitrons for PTH carrier backup/chasers
Stops shrikes always repeating that stupid shoot-swoop and actually come up with a proper strategy. Also gives a chance for offensive AA since most maps will allow a shrike to evade a missile very easily if it's anywhere inside your own base.
Just toss one and it blows up after 3 seconds, only effective on air vehicles.

He's got too much power already, best shotgun in the game, best automatic in the game if you know how to use it, all kinds of fucking nitron that's always useful at some point, powerful spinfusors, best capper, best chaser, how many more title will hirez give to this asshole of a class?
best shotgun in the game is holdout shotgun/the hammer.
best automatic in the game is chain cannon.
the only useful nitron is impact nitron.
best spinfusor is sld spinfusor and maybe duel spinfusor.
umm best capper and chaser? no shit sherlock.

You must be playing pretty badly if you're getting beaten by pathfinders in most of those titles.
If we're talking about bitch classes, let's talk about juggs. They get literally everything! Long range high damage mortar, medium range high dps LMG and short-ish range high damage spinfusor disks...

I just saw shazpunch in the newbloods bracket and what do you know there's an 80 page thread on facepunch. I'm also in it, playing for Revenant. Just beat puppy kisses last night so I think we're #1 in points now.
On a side note, my twitch channel just got added to the Watch Now tab along with one of our snipers. Too bad I hardly stream anymore.

Or make a new grenade called "Pulse/Energy grenade" and give it the same stats as the current EMP, and give the EMP new stats that would be something like:
70% Less damage
Disables Vehicles, Defenses and Packs (Shield pack, Jammer Pack, Cloak etc.) for 5 seconds

I AM the one playing pathfinder in this case, it's stupid how you can change your loadout around and retain such effectiveness on all front.
A good sniper seems to be the only thing able to hinder or temporarily halt your progress
What I meant by best capper and chaser, is that it's all they should be, but the problem (in my opinion) is that their tool allow them to be too powerful in direct combat. They're too versatile for their role.

what the hell who cares if you can change your loadout, it's exactly the same as changing class it's not like he has both types of nitrons at once
also a 2-shot grenade is no big achievement since most classes have a 1000 damage grenade, in fact it's probably the worst grenade in the game

the pathfinder trades health for speed, that's already a big enough handicap so there's no reason his weapons shouldn't be as good imo

But WHY has the pathfinder access to the most powerful shotgun in the entire GAME? Even the Hammer (brute's new one) doesn't do as much damage.
Same goes for the spinfusor, the vanilla one is the max it should do damage-wise, they shouldn't have made one that upped the damage further..

I don't know about that new holdout shotgun, but the regular one is on-par with the brute's auto and the sawed-off is actually better.
once again for the spinfusors I don't know about the new dueling thing (it seems ok) but the normal one is on-par with the other spinfusors

I doubt it, you can hit pretty reliably with it but throwing it is kind of pointless since the SF is even easier to hit and you'll end up with the same dps most likely
and like I said equipping it will significantly nerf your cap/chase ability which is a pretty serious downside

Basically, the holdout shotgun can put another light pathfinder to 50 health, that's 850 damage if all the shots connect, that's [b] 90%+ [/b] of your life as a pathfinder. It takes 4 shot to kill a heavy, the brute's new one takes 5.
And the dueling spinfusor is flatout better, the only difference is 50 less damage on splash, but 110 more damage on direct hit (770 -> 880), and the self damage is basically the same so you can use it to disc jump just as safely.

Depends, recently I've been using the explosive nitron as capper / chaser, the advantage when capping is if you're full health, you can conc jump with explosive, since it doesn't force flag drop, obviously chasing is harder, somewhat, unless you have the lar equipped and you can just mow down the poor guy while closing the distance in 5 seconds straight :l
I don't know, it's just I've always found it downright retarded the amount of firepower this class packs.
Wow, so I'm just a newbie right? Level 5. I'm with levels 1-6, all of a sudden a fucking level 21 joins. It became incredibly stupid after that.

That reminds me of the MASSIVE PROBLEM with teamstacking that this game has. Most of the time I'll enter a game with a bunch of other level 26s and the other team will be made up of mostly level 32s that are all members of the same comp team.

honestly just remove team switching from matchmaking.
shuffle people at the end of each match based on rank and performance in the previous match.
keep team switching in servers though

This is good.
It also makes it REALLY OBVIOUS when players are teamstacking, allowing intense and painful use of votekicking.
I've never found teamstacking to be a problem. Rank means little to nothing on how skilled you are.
Anyone reckon bringing this game to steam would do some good?
