That would be awful. I think I remember someone here saying damage dealt with MAC-10 does count as fire damage though, I hope it's the same with the Trenchgun. It's much more fun to use than flamethrower is.

I hope they adjust the achievements for it or something, because he looks cool and I regret not playing KF at all during that event.

That achievement isn't required for the Reaper achievement. You can get it with these 6, which you can get solo:

It doesn't take as long as it sounds. I did one normal run and one beginner run solo, checked my counter and had like 500 something. The kills for that counter can be on [i]any[/i] whitelisted map - which is most of them played online nowadays - so don't worry about sticking to just the event map for that one.

1 and a quarter times wave one and you've got it
1,000 actually isn't a lot.
I got it with about 3 long solo normal games.
You'll save a lot of time if your kills count towards other achievements too.
Easy way to unlock the Grim Reaper in under an hour.

So I finally cracked, and got the weapons pack for 9 refined.
Finally there won't be a big fat "DLC" mark on those weapons at the trader. FFS.
The buzzsaw crossbow is now my favorite weapon.

It certainly is good, but it feels so weird using a gun as a berserker.
The first time I tried it out, I tried to get the event achievement where you need to kill a Husk and any other Zed with it.
I tried to line up the Husk with a jumping Crawler.
It hit the Crawler, but missed the Husk.
It almost scared the shit out of me when I saw it bouncing back and forth quickly.
Somehow, it managed to hit and kill the Husk too, because I got the achievement a few seconds later.
And that's how I learned that it ricochets.
Ok, fuck anything I said, the Tommy Gun sounds like a fucking orgasm in your ear when you fire it.
Now my favorite weapon.
Good god the nail gun is amazing. Being able to shoot down and have all the nails hit twice is awesome!
