I played earlier, and when I joined it was like wave 2 with a sharpshooter and support on mountain pass. They were terrible. The sharpshooter never bought armor at any point in the game, even against the patriarch, and the support was just bad in general. I played medic the entire time, and like a wave or two after I joined this one guy using the Russian soldier skin did and I ended up basically being his personal medic almost the entire match. I tried to keep other people alive, but like everyone was a liability to be near except that guy. We had three people join, die once, and then leave immediately. At the end of the map, the sharpshooter and support voted for some custom map and the guy I was with voted for Hillbilly Horror. I voted for it too just to try and keep the other two from getting the map they wanted, and it won.
Like three waves into Hillbilly Horror, an admin joined and kicked the guy who was previously a sharpshooter so he could make room for himself to join. Then he proceeded to command the team around and try to tell us how to play. I never said anything, but the guy was extremely obnoxious. Constantly telling us that he would tank the scrakes and fleshpounds, but then never actually moving up to do it. He was there just to get the Love Grenade achievement, and when another level 6 medic joined he told him to leave or change his perk.
Also, I don't know how, but he added an extra 'e' to my name when pronouncing it. How the fuck do you mispronounce 'Shen' as a native English speaker?
What's the point of your story?

Because he's banging seven gram rocks, that's how he rolls.

Because people were posting their recent experiences since the start of the sale? Sorry if I'm not allowed to post a bad experience with an admin, last time I checked this was the thread to post about experiences in KF.
Absolutely love the update. Missed last years halloween update with the summer sideshow zeds dressed up for halloween. I bought the weapon DLC immediately, didn't really have a problem with it.
Firebug has been my only non 6 perk for so long now because I just couldn't be bothered to wait for things to die. But the trenchgun and revolvers change that. Now I can actually have fun playing firebug.
Never said anything bad.
I should really stop playing on normal difficulty. Wave 9 out of 10, my entire team dies somehow (I wasn't anywhere near anyone else at the time). I had a katana and a buzzsaw bow and I had to kill just above 80 things by myself. Not really a challenge but the people in chat were acting like it was. There was even a fleshpound but I just shot it with the buzzsaw bow from far away.
The only thing I took damage from is the crawlers because their model is really weird. I can usually dodge the crawlers fine and then quickly kill them when they land, but something about the halloween model is really off.
With just a Mac-10 and Trenchgun, I managed to carry a whole team to wave 9 before they abandoned me for a scrake and fleshpound.
Assholes.
Is there a way to safely reset my perks to level 0?
The flare pistol and the trench god are fucking fun to shoot.
Is there a way to safely reset my perks to level 0?
Go to killingfloor.ini in the system file and set the line bResetStats to true and then run the game. It'll also reset your achievements and you have to go back to that line and set it to false, otherwise you'll just reset your stats every time you launch the game.
So, is it intended for the Buzzsaw Bow's sawblades to constantly play the "in-flight" sound, even while their sitting on the ground/lodged in a wall?
Anyone else having problems with the "3 gorefasts with the trenchgun" achieve unlocking?
I've started playing firebug more and I've noticed that when I set stalkers on fire, they aren't on fire. Like I shoot them once with the Mac-10 and they are still invisible, and then all of a sudden they crisp and start flailing but there's no fire. Everything else sets of fire fine though
At last someone was kind to drop me a pair of flare revolvers today.
Mac-10, Husk cannon and Flamethrower: You are obsolete now.
Trench gun and dual flare revolvers is da best. Is funny how flare revolvers are the only good dual pistols in the game and they happen to be DLC weapons.

What?
I can't believe some of you are whining about a $4 dollar DLC, get a fucking job, jesus.

You mean a $8 dollar DLC.
You mean a $8 dollar DLC.
You mean a $8 dollar DLC that grants you 4 weapons. (at a rate of 2 dollars per community made weapon)

Which is kind of funny when you think about it, because if you consider that in Team Fortress 2 each weapon is worth about a scrap of metal, and each scrap of metal is worth less than 5 cent, and that there are about 150 gameplay-changing, non-cosmetic items in TF2 (weapons), you could get pretty much EVERY WEAPON in TF2 for around 8 bucks.
Oh shit, EIGHT WHOLE DOLLARS.
You sure showed me

It's called value for money.
The arguments for why the Weapons DLC was a bad idea:
$8 is way too expensive for a 4 weapon DLC
The Flare gun, Buzzsaw bow and the Scythe are not side grades and have advantages over free weapons. DLC Comparisons on the TWI forums

I will do my part as a vigilante Zerker, bravely leveling to 6 and using all the spare cash to buy DLC guns for the peasants.

I try to do the same if somebody in the group requests it. Always nice to share the love if their willing to throw me their cash to buy them a Tommy Gun or whatever.

How do I shot gun?
The roof of the house has the same problem of the roof of the bunker in Wyre: Easy to defend, but if a zed makes it inside, everybody dies.
Also, the trampoline is a death trap if the crawlers are following you, because they hurt you everytime you touch them.

And the hole in the roof leading inside just about guarantees something's going to get in, because people are fucking retarded and refuse to watch it for more than two seconds.
Seriously, if you're going to watch a serious problem area, watch it. If not, don't fucking come over and "help" me when I'm dealing with it myself without any problems. Go get killed on the trampoline or something.
