My Sharpshooter is now level 4 and my Field Medic is halfway to level 5
I swear I just reached Medic level 4 like few days ago.
Medic and sharpshooter are the fastest leveling classes. Getting it from 5 to 6 is where things get "Interesting"

Is that horrible limbo until you hit level 6.
For the other classes the limbo is in level 3-4.

Anything you find fun. Support Specialist and Commando are my top two recommendations.

the trick to leveling sharp is using the M14EBR
once you learn to use it watch your headshot count spike
The best way to level sharp is to install the kf_players mutator and set it to 99, making something like 600 zeds spawn in the first wave.
Of course now that the whitelist is gone you can just play kf_testmap and grind all the perks to 6 relatively quickly.

I tried testmap out, and used a class I never really use, the demolitions. Jesus fuck I gained 500K explosive damage in like, 10 minutes.

Back when the stock mutations were ALL whitelisted, to level demo, I'd go play kf_doomed_v2_final (I think that's the map name anyway) with the poundamonium mutation set to beginner.
Since beginner gives you 30 extra seconds of setup time, and fleshpounds give you exorbitant amounts of money, you can pipespam half the goddamn map by yourself. Plus, even with six players, one or two m79/m32 grenades can instagib a fleshpound.
Of course now you can do the exact same thing. The one thing you can't do, though, is lay down so many pipes that the moment the patriarch spawns, he explodes into a fine red mist.
Which then also explodes.

I wish you could prestige in this game. I tend to lose interest in classes once I hit level 6. Would be nice if I could reset some and maybe get a cooler class logo above me or a "battle hardened" reskin for my class' signature weapon. Mostly just for the fun if leveling again. I remember the good old days where I had to dance around a group of small stuff as a Berserker instead of chopping everything at the speed of light.

How long has the LAR been bugged?
If you shoot 4 shots, you will reload 3, if you shoot 5 shots, you will reload 4, and so on.

Is a bug. An annoying one. Sometimes, it gets fixed when you die (throw grenades at your feet at trader time). Others, it forces you leave and join again on the server.

but i just cant take it anymore after 3 minutes
They get slightly better after 40 minutes of derping, this is the first time they're playing so give them a break. It takes them a while to grasp a different control scheme/playstyle.
