I prefer single eagle, because I find it easier to hit the head without iron sights with one than with two for some reason.
I just use them as a panic weapon when playing Support. AA12 and Shotgun leave 4 blocks so it's either that or the grenade launcher.
I prefer to use AA12 + HS + katana.
AA12 + HS leaves yourself kind of prone during reloads. Normal shotgun has an interruptible reload so that's why I carry it. AA12 + HS is the boss in terms of damage, though so agreed in that.
Am I the only one who isn't a fan of dual pistols of any sort? Most people seem to take dual Eagles or Revolvers for their sets.
Dual revolvers are good to have when there's a scrake in your face and no shells in your AA12.
Dual revolvers are good to have when there's a scrake in your face and no shells in your AA12.
Dual handies do the job just as well due to high damage :colbert:
I cant hit anything at all with duals Single HC/9mm = aimbot
Dual revolvers are good to have when there's a scrake in your face and no shells in your AA12.
You're not supposed to have a scrake in your face in the first place, you shotgun whores. Sharpshooter all the way.
The flamethrower only is useful for burning entire hallways filled of clots/crawlers/other minor zeds. For the rest, the Mac is more convenient to use. In case you have a lot of money to buy the Husk Cannon, use it against the Scrakes and Fleshpounds. It deals a lot of damage (only needs two overcharged shoots to kill a fp in hard). What do you think about the combat shotgun? i only used it in the event to get the achievement and looks like i gonna play as support soon.
What do you think about the combat shotgun? i only used it in the event to get the achievement and looks like i gonna play as support soon.
Heck Im going to say it even when you guys are going to rip my balls: I hate most of the new weapons. Only the Husk cannon and the MP5M seems to be a good sidegrade to me at least.
;34599745']Dual handies do the job just as well due to high damage :colbert:
revolvers are a block lighter though.
You're not supposed to have a scrake in your face in the first place, you shotgun whores.
revolvers are a block lighter though. Two highest DPS weapons in the game, suck it.
I thought they weighed the same? [editline]8th February 2012[/editline] I don't know why but I just can't use the HC iron sights.
Finally beat Evil Santas Lair on hard, the last map that i left to beat. Also, i leveled the firebug to the LV5 (sharpshooter needs 150 headshots to LV5 if i remember it correctly). Also, =DarkStar=, you are the same that it was on my game in Offices?

I haven't played in a month.
Dual revolvers are good to have when there's a scrake in your face and no shells in your AA12.
I just carry a hunting shotgun with my AA12. kaboom.
I played against the patty with 6 chainsaws for the first time. It was hilarious.
Finally reached LV5 Sharpshooter and started leveling the support. The combat shotgun looks good for fire more faster than the normal shotgun, but nothing more.
I am so glad this is working right for me again - It would only ever find like 5 servers with horrible connection, regardless of filtering/difficulty etc. even DURING the events. Also I don't know why but whenever I play support it seems that damage needed never goes up fast (compared to other classes) and I hardly earn money each wave... It's like whatever I earn I gotta spend on ammo. Also only need around 12k healing for lvl 6 medic, and around 3k headshots for lvl 6 SS. Been using other classes more though.
Died before Patriarch round on mountain Pass last night, got to the store with 4 seconds to spare, only got to buy armor. Then half our team rushed the Patriarch while the other half camped. Did not go well. :/
I started crashing a few kills before level 4 commando. I wonder, considering the icon for level 6 people has a star, will Tripwire add more levels and weapons? or at least a way to reset your rank but keep the gold icon?
I love how when I'm doing just fine against 3 clots at full health, I get all the help in the world, but when there is an army of scrakes and fleshpounds 3 feet away and I have almost no health left, everybody is busy looking at the fascinating crawler the other way and I die.
Finally reached LV5 Sharpshooter and started leveling the support. The combat shotgun looks good for fire more faster than the normal shotgun, but nothing more.
It also has insane grouping and ridiculous penetration. It's a solid gun.
One million sold? Good work, Tripwire.
$2.99 on Steam right now, if you don't own this already you should be ashamed of yourself.
For anyone who doesn't read the Tripwire forums, this is the promo image they created for the million sales milestone that doesn't seem to be used anywhere else: Hmm, seems familiar somehow. Also, the announcement thread there has a bunch of neat statistics: http://forums.tripwireinteractive.com/showthread.php?t=75551
"Zeds are being killed by you at the rate of over 20,000 an hour!" Now that's impressive.

Holy shit the destroyed Zeds are almost at our current world population count!
"440 MILLION Zeds have been dispatched in Achievements alone - including more than a quarter-million Christmas Santa" Looks like everybody wanted Baddest Santa character, lol Also, a post from [TW]Wilsonam: http://forums.tripwireinteractive.com/showpost.php?p=1024911&postcount=32 "Yep, we found much the same results... 1 million units (and growing) puts KF in the top 100 selling PC games OF ALL TIME... scary, huh? A lot of those really big numbers you see are for console, or combinations of platforms! " Well done.
Holy shit the destroyed Zeds are almost at our current world population count!
and still, bioticslab: "...the incubators remained functional, spawning more clones..."
and still, bioticslab: "...the incubators remained functional, spawning more clones..."
I'm starting to think the "incubators" are just declawed Stalkers that keep getting raped by Gorefasts and Clots.
