Nah bro, I pretty much cycle between the MP7 and the MP5 so I can shoot more healing darts because 90% of the time I shoot one it either misses because they move at the last second or it hits them but doesn't heal for some reason.

Oh, but the point was that teammates should leave the Scrake alone while the Zerker kills it. Since calmed Scrakes are practically Berserker cannon fodder, other teammates shooting at it wildly is infuriating when trying to kite it properly.
"GOD DAMN IT STOP SHOOTING IT YOU'LL JUST MAKE IT RAGE I GOT THIS GUYS"
But nope, the medic and/or sharpshooter herp derp and run right into it's back, blasting their lever-actions up it's ass and of course I take the all the damage.
If you use two mediguns to constantly spam darts, that's damn effective and I feel good knowing there's still medics like you around this game. I personally just have the MP5 since I don't usually play in suicidal pubs and therefore my teammates aren't usually that hurt. With it I carry a SCAR which is a weaker, semi-auto LAR to me. Amazing against hordes of Clots and Crawlers which are usually the only things my teammates ever let through. (accidentally tho)
when the zerker starts beating the shit out of that lonely scrake:
:munch:

See, this is why I exclusively play KF with friends. Everybody knows what they're supposed to be doing, and everyone has fun doing it.
Oh and fuck all Berserkers. Nothing personal, but you're not doing anything that a well-equipped Support or Sharpshooter can't do much faster with a bit of teamwork, and then you're getting snooty whenever you die? Nah bro fuck that.
Also what's the deal with Ash? Why is a girl being added to the game such a big deal? I can understand wanting to add a woman after a while and making a bit of a deal out of it initially, but what's up with selling her by herself for five dollars after an exclusive wait period? I don't get it.
I finally reach LV5 with the demo perk. Now i´m with the berserk perk. It gonna take a while, between the crawlers and the idiots of my team shooting the Scrakes.
I got my sharpshooter to my first level 6 perk yesterday! Yay

You know, I love to have more bang for my buck, but this doesn't seem right.
I just had a bug with commando that I had infinite ammo and shots did no damage.
Yesterday my x-bow scope lost its magnification and I had also that infinite grenades and third person bug.

What really grinds my gears is when I'm Medic and I've got a crossbow to handle Scrakes and Fleshpounds and everybody on my squad goes fucking apeshit on Fleshpounds and Scrakes.
Yes, cloud my vision with thick plumes of smoke so I can't see anything and don't succeed in killing the fleshpounds or the scrakes charging at you, you stupid demos.

Berserkers never run out of ammo, something that can happen to Supports. Sharpshooters on the other hand are easily overwhelmed by Clot swarms. Berserkers either swing em all to death or just run. I mean, you can't hide but you can run and then pick em off one by one.
One of the greatest assets of being a zerker though is supporting your team's economy. Berserkers are fucking money machines, you don't have to buy almost any ammo, just armor every round and maybe a couple of rounds for a HC/LAR. The rest are better spent in the hands of your teammates. Supports and other classes take a huge amount of upkeep cash per round thanks to their massive damage also using up a lot of their ammo and other resources.
Zerkers require little upkeep, earn a lot of dosh for the team and are amazing aggro switchers. Not too many classes can say: "That medic there is going to get raged by a Fleshpound, let me tank the hits for him!"

Although technically, it should be the medic tanking the hits for the rest of the team. Also, Sharpshooters (or at least me) have 9mm. Maybe I'm just special, but I only use my special weapons for heavy targets, which is basically everything that isn't a clot, gorefast, stalker or crawler. So most of the time, I'm not even using my M14.

The medic almost never wants to take hits in the games I play in. Zerker is a bit of a bodyguard for the team in the sense that he cuts down whatever gets inside the team's defensive comfort zone. The rest keep the shooters either alive or shoot the zeds that are out of the zerker's range and in their's.
The Medic has good kevlar just to stay alive to heal others. If your medic dies, you're in for a ride. They're excruciatingly important in higher difficulties where the slightest touch eats like 15 points of body armor and 9 points of health. Sure, it's possible to survive a wave without one but dramatically difficult. That's why I guard the priest of the team as the tank :3
When I see a Scrake or Fleshpound charging at someone I pelt it full of rounds with my MP5 so it starts to focus on me instead.
[editline]6th May 2012[/editline]
Only if I have high body armor though :v:
Most of the time, I'm not required to heal anyone so I try to tank the scrakes and fps so my teammates won't die, since they're the ones with the heavy guns. Of course, when I do need to heal someone, they've either healed themselves already or run off TOWARDS the zeds so I can't heal them.
Although technically, it should be the medic tanking the hits for the rest of the team.
Whenever I try to get between teammates as a Medic either the zed closes the distance before I can get there, the zed walks around me, or the idiot just moves out from behind me and dies.
Medic as a zed bouncer in a nutshell.
You're partially right about Support Specialist, but I can wipe out an entire hallway full of zeds with two handcannons. The problem is the reload time was heavily nerfed for them so I don't reload nearly as quickly with them as I used to pre-nerf, which is the main reason I don't use Sharpshooter anymore.
Now, when I go Level 6 Firebug I can pretty much hold my own forever. The Husk Gun is actually the most useless weapon I've ever used as Firebug because it has such a slow speed and it deals damage around a certain area, whereas the Flamethrower can deal a constant stream of damage over a very wide area. I can kill Fleshpounds and Scrakes with an entire canister. Not that I waste an entire canister to kill one, but they usually die just seconds before reaching me after I spray a hallway. Not only do all of the other zeds around them die, but so does whatever is charging me.

What difficulty are we talking about?
Normal/Hard
I typically don't play on Suicidal or HoE because my internet connection is awful.
Berserker is a marmite class tbh, i use it enough for shits and giggles, but if you truely have a team with comms and good tactics, you can all pick perks that are not Berserker or medic.
Typically for most standard HoE rounds we roll 2 supports interchanging fire (1 shoots 1 reloads, 2 sharpshooters with hand cannons and Xbows, 1 Demo with the m79 and a shit load of pipes and 1 commando with a scar.
For the first round we all go medic and swap perks at the end of round one for the extra cash and free bdu, first few rounds are easy cash builders. Once our squad is tooled up we will reach the patty easilly, beating the patty is another story though where our perks go out the window, normally in favor of an all medic and xbow load out to kite all day long.
I'm not say that the berserker is entirely redundant, it's just highly situational.
On another note, still waiting on a rank 7 to come out, sucks not leveling up no more.
If Rank 7 becomes a new level, I'd like to see how TWI handles how a player can actually achieve Rank 7. I have 16,000 headshots or something on my Rank 6 Sharpshooter. Unless TWI nerfs everybody's headshot count to the bare minimum required for Rank 6, I'll be at Rank 7 instantly without having to do anything.
I fail to see what's the problem with Zerkers vs Crawlers and Sirens.
As a Beserker, my weapons of choice were always a chainsaw/katana/fireaxe with that desert eagle pistol or whatever.
I'd kill everything with my melee weapon and just whip out the gun to easily kill crawlers and sirens, I'd just solo entire waves no problem.

Is been a long time since some say he use the chainsaw.
I only use it to make a lumberjack rape to the patriatch.
Anyone else use the .44mag and just the .44mag for shits and giggles
I love it, the ironsights are great

I use hunting shotgun's alt fire and only alt fire most of the time.
This is how I feel like while playing the farm level on hard.

Fire Axe as Officer Thorne.
Blood for the Blood...me.
Just got firebug to level 6.
I'm looking to level something up over the summer break. Between a level 3 demolitions and a level 2 zerker, which would be quicker to level up?
Demo.
Demo.
demo on that doom map = so much damage per round.
plus demo makes killstealing for dosh a snap.
Berserk. It´s at LV2, so it needs less damage points. Also, leveling a Demo to LV4 takes a lot of time (the grenade launchers are expensive for you, and unless someone gives you money, you probably will not be able to buy pipebombs).
