After all, it always existed - on the husk. And it's not bright green and futuristic, it looks rusted and I can imagine it coming from Horzine labs easily. I'm not saying that it isn't out of place either, mind you.
They added the KSG shotgun? Damn! I may need to start playing support.
They renamed it to HSG and a few texture changes.
Had a quick game of beginner long on the new map with a couple other folks, and I can say that the M7A3M (the new medigun) does look pretty nice in-game, as does the MK23 pistol, but the firing sounds on both are rather off (m7a3m sounds too pew-pew-ish and the mk23 sound blots out any other weapon i heard in that game) and the in-built HUD on the M7A3M just looks ridiculous.
The guns seem over-futuristic for me. I mean, if there were no *CHECK* sounds after reloads, no green lights, no ammo counters, it would be a lot better. Worldmodels don't have them, and I hope the viewmodels won't, too.

I know I'll sound stupid for saying this, but I really wish they'd make another game with updated everything.
Good to see Im not the only one I hate the new weapons. I don't like this "pro high tech cutie green lights and sound" Still the sharp sniper rifle and the commando rifle is sexy.
Joined a game of hard/long Farm with 5 other level 6 folks in it, went medic and realised it was wave 10. After very little of note happening we got to the patriarch, where they threw me the new sniper rifle and told me to go sharpshooter, followed by everyone else going sharp with it. We took out the patriarch in a couple minutes with the only death being the level 2 sharp blowing himself up with grenades, this thing's damn powerful.
AK47 + FNFAL + Soviet skin from Red Orchestra 2 pre-order is pretty great. I seriously recommend going semi-automatic on the FAL though, it eats through so much ammo but it's extremely powerful. I love it a lot more than the SCAR.
Killed the Pat in 3 shots on Normal with M99. And they weren't even headshots. Mk23 has a really nice sound to me, it's also pretty powerful, it's a nice sidegrade from the normal pistol. The HSG is a pretty damn accurate shotgun. FAL seems like a great rifle, nice and powerful.
The M99's power is there, but i'd probably use it as a support because it takes up so much space.
The Barrett is GOD. I killed two Patriarch today headshooting them in the head (yes, you can decapitate him). The new medic gun is just what we needed for the final round, more firepower (although it looks like it has nearly the same recoil than the MP7). The new shotgun is just the normal shotgun, but you can select what type of spread you want. I was able to kill a Scrake only with this with the tight spread to their head. But after the round 5, better change to the hunting/combat shotgun. The MK23 is not a big deal. Is a bit more powerful than the normal pistol, but it doesnt look me better. I prefer using the dual magnums. Didnt tested yet the Fal, but after i saw, it looks powerful (or just because is more faster). I think that the medic gun and the shotgun are too hi-tech for KF, but is not a big deal (just say "ultimate prototypes of Horzine weapons" and solved). About the map, it reminds me to Bedlam, due the narrow hallways and the size of the map, but it looks like only 1/3 of the map is played.

I played three different matches on suicidal, and the strategy was the same each time. Hold the ramp next to the trader door, and weld the access tunnel at the mouth of the tunnel next to the space room. Of course the team lost in those three matches. :v:

I would have prefered if the new medic gun was like the others, large magazine with a high rate of fire.
I keep getting Connection Failed glitch, where I can't exit out I just click the button and nothing happens. Any solution?
Any FPers got a good FP only server running?

Anyone know of how to install guide for mutations and a working download for the fakeplayers mutation? I suppose its a dumb question but i can't seem to find answers by searching.

I swear performance in this game gets worse and worse as time goes on. I can max out most games but in Killing Floor? I can't even get a stable FPS with an extremely low resolution. I used to run this game with the same settings on a piece of shit rig, now I get hardcore frame drops with any sort of action.
New weapons is meh. They looks like regular shit from cowadooty, yet they are way too powerful. Or nerf them, or increase their prices. I'm still feel better with MP7\MP5 and Double-Barrel as Medic.
