Play lots. There's no shortcut here, you're going to play several tens of games until you get them.

you really think the m99 is too powerful? I think the damage is fine. they should just make it really expensive to balance it out

All you really can do is just play a lot. I got all my perks up to level 6 in about 200 hours of non-grind gaming.

There is no other way to get things faster but for firebug at least you can burn bloats untils they pop out. They are good damage sponges so is a good target, bad thign about it is you will waste alot of ammo.
Trust me when you get out of level 3 firebug you will level up pretty fast. Don't give up.

If you are at LV3 you should play in Normal, and when you reach LV4 start playing in hard. That will help you. At LV5 is advisable to play in Suicidal (like i started doing, is a challenge).
The Firebug is the easiest perk to level up. Just burn everything (buy the MAC-10, put it at semi-auto, shot one bullet per zed. Reserve the flamethrower to large groups). If i remember it right, your grenades are now incendiary at LV3. Use them. Avoid FPs and SCs unless you have the Husk cannon and you have a Medic near (but burn them with the MAC-10 each X time).
With Support, the best option would be use the hunting shotgun and shoot to large groups at once. Use the normal shotgun for killing lesser zeds like clots or crawlers. Pellet penetration is your friend, aim for two or more zeds in a row!!.
The same for the Commando. Stick with the Berserks, because they will need you for killing the crawlers. Killing X stalkers is just the hardest thing in KF. For leveling to 4 and 5, i had to go to the Doom II map in order to kill the lastest 100 stalkers.
A last thing: If you need to level up the Demoman, go to Normal and use your grenades. Then, buy the m72. It will be more faster than playing in Hard. You can level up the Medic and the Sharpshooter perks without even playing them in all your games (healing your mates and aiming to the head).

This guy makes some good points. The new sniper is pretty OP and the new faster crossbow pretty much nullifies the Lever Action.
Strange. I was able to reloading that fast the Xbow before this update. I thought it was because i´m LV6.
I think that reducing the ammo to 12 like he said, make it more expensive (3000 at LV6?) and making the reloading more slower it will be enough.
The Crossbow is supposed to be better than the lever action

okay, the display may be a little over the top
but the ring turning red when low ammo is suprisingly useful
wish other guns would have that, seeing how many weapons have some kind of optical attachment on them

I could not agree more. They should have added the non-ACOG one. Not only does an ACOG on this weapon look out of place, but this scope does not even resemble a real ACOG.
KSG compared to the Combat Shotgun (KSG / CS):
Price - 1250 / 2500
Damage - 228 / 245
Magazine - 12 / 6
Fire Rate - pump-action (still automatic) / semi-auto
And because the KSG is magazine-fed, the reload time is much lower compared to every other shotgun except the AA12. The KSG is easily the second-best shotgun in the game and it's pretty affordable too.

Decided as my Killing Floor video did decently well with 2.5k odd views, considering I only have 224 subscribers, I might cater my channel to Zombies but largely focused on Killing Floor. i don't see how the m99 is OP, it takes up almost all of your weight blocks, it can only load 1 shot a time, and it reloads somewhat slowly, i'd say the high damage makes up for that

Kind of lazy. They just took some of the weapons from a weapon mod and implemented them. That m99 is super OP. As a lvl 6 sharp you can kill a FP on hell on earth with just 1 shot. Then the rest of the weapons are too futuristic for KF. I like the medic gun however. IMO they should have added a new perk or maybe another lvl or maybe make some of the weapons useful that noone uses like the m4 with the grenade launcher. However i like the new characters and the new map.
Also has anyone ever heard about this program called steam achievement manager? With that you can get your perks up to lvl 6 and get all the achievements.

I think it's really bloody stupid though about the "unlock at least 10 summer sideshow achievements" without telling us which ones are valid for it, rather than just their image. I'm spending most of the time figuring out which ones to unlock rather than actually trying to unlock them.
