I haven't played KF in a while and want to start getting back into it. Is the berserker meta still Katana + fire axe?
Katana + claymore. But the axe still a little better since let you carry another weapon for crawlers.
Katana + claymore. But the axe still a little better since let you carry another weapon for crawlers.
Still find the Katana, Dual Handcannons, and m32 the best loadout.
Still find the Katana, Dual Handcannons, and m32 the best loadout.
I use katana + axe + LAR since is dirt cheap. Sometimes for being more cool I grab a Handcannon because I can't aim shit with dual.
I usually play Zerker as a very supportive class. A cheap loadout to make lodsemone to fund everyone else more from Wave 3. Like, I get everything I need from ammo boxes and a 100 quids in the shop. After wave 3 I have like 500 to spare which I can give to a Support for a neat early AA12. Helps to be a bro, too bad they die soon after :c

Wait a fucking second: We just got killed by the spinning attack from the patriatch and we didn't even melee him, heck, we didn't come near as close to melee range to active his attack, he just rush right into us and made his spin. That was cheap, real cheap.
The reason people can't find servers is because KF recently transferred over to STEAMCMD (cs:go uses this) and it was on a very short notice, many server admins and even game hosts haven't transitioned fully yet. So yes finding servers will be a pain in the ass. ALSO the current kf-abusementpark isn't whistlisted yet.

When he spawns on a pipe bomb which explodes and interrupts his animation, so instead he fires a rocket into your group while you can't move. :v:

For berserker I usually grab a katana and speed around the map in early waves delivering guns to the less gifted runners. After everyone is happy I save up loads of dosh for the demo, support and most importantly the commandos. Then after I fund the shit out of the Demoman I get him to buy me an M4 203. If no demoman is around I go for a lever action or the Fire Axe with some sort of automatic gun. Getting a medic to buy me a medigun is one of my favorite ways to chop. But seriously, commandos are the most under appreciated people in the game. They're like a scented candle in a field of diarrhea. Everything I despise as a Berserker gets bombarded by a hail of bullets.
Spend a game of foundry helping a low-level team as support specialist get to wave 11 game crashes before patriarch can make his speech gg

He ain't as slow as you, how's he supposed to keep up? I rush off sometimes in lower difficulties when I'm messing around, but if I die I don't cry about it to the team, just laugh it off. I played KF with some friends, me and a Commando sticked together all the time. I killed the Scrakes and kited the Fleshpounds, he killed the Crawlers and sirens. Eternal love between us <3 [sp]and by eternal love i mean i was officer thorne and he was ash. bow-chicka-bow-wow[/sp]
Woo Medic Level 5! I had a fucking amazing team, I don't think I've ever had a team so great. I mean, I joined in at Wave 7 with a Pistol, was given enough money for an MP7 for Round 8, got an MP5 by Round 9, and an M7 by Round 10 / Patriarch. At which point, we kicked the Patriarch's ass hardcore.

So the new update features the clot shooting gallery? Someone can post the pics of what changed? Also, for all those who played Abusement and didnt realized about it: the ads of the map have been changed (for example: 1000$ if you fail to see the giant viking->Take a look and smile to the FleshPound Clown "more or less"). Someone knows what it was fixed or if some weapon was modified? (i hope they fixed again the problem with the players blocking your shots).
Yesterday I played on suicidal, then a level 1 commando joined with the pyro skin. Due to the low perk he was unable to kill anything because the weapons sucked so much. Then a level 2 demolition joined the game, I thought like "hey, let's give this pal some money, he will surely need it because demoweapons are darn expensive". Then he buys with the money an AK. The fuck?
It's basically new people underestimating how difficult the game is. Most newcomers will listen when you describe how important perk levels are for the different difficulties.
Every time I got out of my way to explain that you should buy weapons related to your perk, or that they should play normal or hard until they have lvl 4/5 perks, people did not listen and kept buying lever actions as commandos or whatever. Now I just do not care about them, do not give them money anymore (so many times where the guy just disconnected 2 zombies in the wave because he died, while I gave him £1000), and do not heal them. I just stopped caring, most terrible players will disconnect anyway.
Yeah, if you're playing a harder difficulty, just ignore beginners and stick with people with high level perks.
I'm only just managing to survive hard mode with a level 4 sharpshooter; and I've been playing for a bloody long time.
That's in public servers with random people, right? Because with a good, coordinated team, lvl 3 perks are enough for Hard. (Playing with such a team happens once a year if you're lucky.)
A question regarding firebug experience using the Mac-10 Do I only get experience with the Mac-10 if I let them burn? For example, if I headshot them right away or kill them with bullets instead of letting them burn, do I get less or even no experience? Nevermind. I do get experience for everything.
i finally got my own internet and pc also KF is now -50%
support master race
It's basically new people underestimating how difficult the game is. The according weapons get significantly better, although most of them do not listen. A player can be skilled in FPS games but KF does not work that way, skilling your perks is a must if you want to advance properly.

A player can be skilled in FPS games but KF does not work that way, skilling your perks is a must if you want to advance properly.
I've always been the exact opposite in what comes to weapons matching perks. NEVER EVER use mismatched weapons. If I am a support, I use shotguns, if I am sharpshooter, I use pistols and rifles, if I am a commando, I use ARs. Nothing else. Ever. I really hate it when people use weapons that don't match their perks. Then they come up with stupid excuses like "but I like matching this with that!" which ends up doing almost nothing.
LAR is good with berseker since you can use it when situations really get out of control.
I agree, the issue is that if you play on suicidal with 6 people and 2 of them are low level with the wrong weapon types, they won't do as much damage as other teammates and do not contribute to the teameffort. Then the other players need to focus more and spend more ammo on zeds, which could jeopardize everything. And then you have those who bitch that the medic sucks. Although some classes have some advantages using other weapons, like the Zerker, using a LAR to kill crawlers. Or medics using a crossbow.
