Only 1000 health points left and my Medic will be level 5, wooo...
Since the M99 was introduced a lot of people take it. They can kill scrakes efficent and sometimes FPs, but the riff raff is such a threat. I had a server where 3 of those were standing on a car. It was so annoying.
I just started playing Killing Floor again. I usually stick with support or sharpshooter, but I decided I would try to experiment and try to get more skill and experience by trying different perks since I've been away from the game so long. I think I should go Berserker more because it feels so weird running around and getting face-to-face with Zeds at level 1.
It feels nice being a level 4 Combat Medic though. I was some how able to kill a flesh-pound, bait him out of my squads holding point, and stay alive long enough to assist some more.
To be fair, the M99 is for selective elimination. Fleshpounds, scrakes and the patriarch. He's still a massive douche, but he was probably just tagging the big things so everyone else could kill with impunity.
I agree and all, but he already had like 190 kills when i joined on wave 7, so as a medic I thought it was damn impressive.
Also, the main reason I got so many kills was that I got abandoned once, and the other times my team just never covered for me. So there were lots of zeds I had to take down on my own.

I've honestly only seen like two people take it, not including me. It's great by itself, but if you've got 2+ sharpshooters they should really be varying their kit a lot more. I've used it to clear huge lines of trash with, but if I see someone going target elimination and I'm still playing sharpshooter, it's lever-action all the way. Take some extra pistols as backup and ignore anything higher up the food chain than a siren.
So, Facepunch.
Magnums or Handcannons?
Magnum. Nothing like the feel of a revolver. The ammo cap stings, but damn does it feel badass.
I prefer the handcannon. Less recoil than the revolver and the damage difference doesn't matter as much when you use it for everything weaker than husks.
I think it might be a good idea if I move on to normal

what do you guys think
I love the reload animation of the dual magnums.
So incredibly badass.

Magnums or Handcannons?
I prefer the Mk. 23
since I'm so pro, I always land ~headshots~
no but seriously I find it perfect for tackling mid-range zeds. More ammo = less reloads

I think it might be time for you to move on to a different server, Jesus man.

Magnums or Handcannons?
I find them magnum unnecessary in when I go Sharp Shooter since I usually can get a lever rifle and probably a hand-cannon later. But i works nice as a Support sidearm if I feel that my shotgun is out of ammo or unnecessary for the weaker zeds..
I find them magnum unnecessary in when I go Sharp Shooter since I usually can get a lever rifle and probably a hand-cannon later. But i works nice as a Support sidearm if I feel that reloading my shotgun will be too slow for the current situation.
magnum is better off-perk, like I'll use a magnum when running M32/M79 on demo.
I personally prefer the handcannons for off-perk sidearms when I'm playing support, because I only pull them out to panicfire when swarmed by smaller zeds.
Just bought the game, last time I played was during the free weekend in december. Any major gameplay changes?
Guys, the answer is obviously both. And a winchester.

Why does he always play the fucking map. It sucks so much.
I REALLY like support, but I am afraid it's not worth leveling up to lvl 6.Is it?I mean, medics have a beast armor, snipers do a shitload of damage, etc...
Also, how what's the best technique to level it up?:v:
[editline]12th July 2012[/editline]
Oh also, what are fakeplayers?
Support level 6 is highly valuable, you'll rarely see a dynamic team without at least 1. Most definatly worth the time, even upkeep is not that expensive if your conservative / lining up shots.
Use the shotgun as the primary and swap to the hunting shotgun for a powerfull volley (secondry fire).
Thats the setup i use and you can't go far wrong with that at all.
There is only 1 perk in this game where level 6 does not match up to every other level 6 class, thats Demo. Far to expensive to upkeep and move up through the weapons while often causing a hinderance to a team by blinding them with smoke, and you're shit out of luck if anything gets too close (it does have upsides, pipes for example, but in comparison to other perks it lags behind some way).

Sick stun very imaginative stille but not fan of his way of thinking.
There is a game outside HOE and not everything goes arround HOE.
I meant it wont be as easy when playing with 6 people, since you said that was too easy.
Yeah, but it's hard to find a good server as I said. I'd rather just play with me and a friend but even on normal just 2 people is hard.
any suggestions other than "stop sucking"?

He did not ever say you can't play anything else than HoE. It's just that he, himself, doesn't play the other difficulties and don't talk about them. He doesn't think people playing Normal are retards afaik.

Ok Half the battle is knowing the best defensive positions on a map and where zed spawns are Unless the map is large enough, ala mountain pass, or you're not playing berserker, you want to be defending somewhere for the majority of the game. Now you'll have to learn these places yourself or read up online for them, you'll hardly find a team on low difficulty that will have that kind of knowledge anyway.
If it's just the 2 of you, pick classes that offset one another, for many maps, rolling Sharpy / Commando and Support will cover all bases, you don't need a dedicated medic.
Be fast at the trader, leave the last zed alive at the end of a round and get as close to the shop before killing it, get in buy your shit and get out with plenty of time to spare to get back to your defensive position.
What maps do you play?
He did not ever say you can't play anything else than HoE. It's just that he, himself, doesn't play the other difficulties and don't talk about them. He doesn't think people playing Normal are retards afaik.
No no, is the impresion he gives in all his videos. The idea to get up ranks and become an elite team, is pretty ok and acceptable but for pretty much all the people play this game to have a good time with friends.
I don't have a focus in the game aside having a good time and try to be nice with people I play.
So, earlier I was playing with a guy who was aimbotting, checked his profile and he's not even a new player, kinda sad. He was a Level 6 Sharpshooter who basically ran (or bunnyhopped, rather) around the middle of farm headshotting everything with his M9 / M99, including enemies that hasn't entered visual range yet.
I know I'm interrupting a topic at hand, but I'm getting tired of healing berserkers. Nothing personal to any good players, I'm just getting tired of the idiots that just rush out and drag themselves so far away from the group. Usually this is when all the good players died I'm I'm force to baby sit that last surviving two or three members.
This was an interesting game. I planned on just being sharpshooter to take out scrakes and fleshpounds but for the first half of the game we had like 4 medics. I switched at the last round though as I figured I was going to deal with every zed on the map.

Playing as an aggressive sharpshooter is really fun I found out.
So I finally get my hands on an M99, and the idiots piss of the Fleshpound I'm trying to shoot, and he kills me. I swear from this moment on, whenever somebody pisses off a FP / Scrake, they're on their own, fuck 'em, I'm not getting myself killed trying to save your sorry ass.
