I REALLY like support, but I am afraid it's not worth leveling up to lvl 6.Is it?I mean, medics have a beast armor, snipers do a shitload of damage, etc... Also, how what's the best technique to level it up?:v: [editline]12th July 2012[/editline] Oh also, what are fakeplayers?
Every class has something they will do better than another. Support is just support! I roll level 6 all the time and my job is sweeping the small stuff out, taking doors down instead of letting them break so they can be used again, putting welds up to cover escapes, nabbing and saving peoples weapons who die or carrying sidearms for myself, new people, or people who run out of ammo. Most importantly keeping everything off the Demoman and keeping the Medic alive. (Mostly 'cause that's what my friends play :v:) You can also kill all the big shit in very close quarters. The sharpshooters can selectively kill large things but a burly support can kill those guys and everything else! The fastest way I found to level it was keep a weld up on a door until Shitfest 2012 starts on the other side then unweld it and blast everything to hell. Weld up the door and repeat.

The problem comes when there are more of 2 Scrakes and Fleshpounds behind the door, but apart of that problem, is the easiest way to end a round (also, a way to die, if you arent able to kill all). I´m the only one who is impressed that from 7 posts every day now we have 40?

I just started playing this game again. I have a problem where my game keeps freezing for a couple of seconds though every couple of minutes. It's fucked me up quite a lot. I turned off precaching to decrease load times. is this causing it?
weird ass kf_farm shit :v:
You got some 'splainin to do, son.
I had a pretty kickass moment with another pub player. We were both Supports with AA12's and Hunting Shotguns. Our entire team dies, we're left alive in Farm so we run like hell from the three Fleshpounds, one of which is raged. We see scrakes on both sides of the road, Gorefasts and Crawlers plus a Husk at the horse fire. I turn around and blow both barrels in the raging zed's mouth, killing it. We manage to run into one of the houses, welding the only door to the room. We keep welding it but we hear not just the Scrakes, but also the Fleshpounds behind it so we back up and reload. When the door breaks, we don't aim. We press Mouse 1 with our AA12's and hope they all die. After the Fleshpounds and Scrakes were turned to a bloody mush we take out our HS's with like 20 zeds left. Both of us alt-fire and the wave is complete. Like wow, 20 zeds in a split of a second. Talk about supportive game. We both got massive dosh from killing all those zeds.
Some screenshots which are pretty neat :v: Sorry for the size I love the chat messages :v:

Does anyone else ever experience a kind of lag where you cant move for a few seconds, but other players are unaffected and Zeds can and will still attack? It happens every minute or so, and you can imagine how annoying it can be.

If I tried to move, I would get pulled back to that place, sort of like being trapped on a spider's web should I say, it lasted about a couple of seconds, everyone else was fine, zeds could still attack me and other players were still moving and jumping. The problem I had, cropped up quite a few times, I fixed it by rebooting my router.
Sick stun very imaginative stille but not fan of his way of thinking. There is a game outside HOE and not everything goes arround HOE.
Just tried this loadout on a couple of suicidal games and an HOE one and it is very good. After selling your crossbow you can pretty much buy the entire loadout + armor if needed. The pistols are good at oneshotting lesser stuff and the LAR is a godsend for stopping scrakes in their tracks with a shot to the head. Hell, I even managed to take out a few raging fleshpounds with the LAR when our xbow/m99 guy missed. When everyone else ran out of ammo I was still there popping heads off of zeds. In one round on Hellride I was with another sharpshooter in the usual holding spot (the hallway) and we were at the front of the group literally maintaining the entire defense with just our pistols. The two support guys behind us didn't really have to do anything unless we were swarmed with a ton of zeds all at once. Feels good to be a sharpshooter.
About a damn time I manage to beat a level on HoE. Well, it was on Mountain pass and a solo run but it still felt great. Especially how I once died on wave 10 with 5 specimens left :v:

Its rewarding to beat a level on hard. I'm gonna try suicide soon.

However, its been happening since i bought the game years ago, an ive restarted my router many times since then. Anyone know a fix?
You can honestly skip suicide and go directly to hell on earth if you see yourself as a somewhat good player. Hell on earth is often easier because the teams are generally made out of better players. [editline]13th July 2012[/editline] LAR is probably the most flexible of all the SS weapon, you can take out any enemy with it on any difficulty. And considering its low cost and somewhat large ammo reserve it also is a great weapon for Field medics and Berserkers.
it's a great mid/long range weapon for anyone... I often do LAR/M32 as demo if I feel like my team isn't doing a good job trash cleaning. but oh god FAL/SCAR is so godly. They don't share ammo reserves. Keep the SCAR on semi, leave the FAL on auto, rape shit.
I wish when you beat a level on HoE it would give you the achievements for all the other difficulties too.
I like the LAR because you can buy it with the starting cash and nearly fill its ammo at the same time.
Well I can honestly not see me using a LAR with support/firebug/commando, but it's a decent enough weapon for demolitions though. Most people bring a LAR when playing medic/berserker on higher difficulties, which is the main reason why I just brought those 2 up.
I use the lever-action on support if nobody's worth a fuck at range, or early on to help get cash for the AA-12 sooner. Shotgun is always the first stop, but if nothing's really coming into shotgun range I tend to grab something I know I can get a lot of kills with.
