So close to Level 6 Sharpshooter... time to level up! (Notice the zed counter)
Is it random or between waves? I get it between waves when all the zeds first start spawning in.
no its pretty random, ill be playing during half way through a wave and it will freeze
I'm still getting this bug that only happens like 30% of the time where I buy something in the shop and I'll just throw a grenade while I'm in the menu. I have no idea why or how to fix it, every time I go the the trader I have to stand facing the door because I shit out grenades so much. One time I bought body armor, pooped a grenade, lost it all, bought more, pooped another grenade and didn't have enough to buy a full third set.
After nine years in development, my Field Medic is finally level 5. Starting armour
What should I level up after support? Medic or sharpshooter?
You should play them all, honestly. It's not really a matter of picking a perk to level, they're all useful and playing them all will help you understand their weaknesses and how to play your other perks with them better.
Am I the only one that instantly tries to indentify what character someone's using, by looking at the viewmodel sleeves, whenever I see a KF screenshot?
Am I the only one that instantly tries to indentify what character someone's using, by looking at the viewmodel sleeves, whenever I see a KF screenshot?
I'll probably start doing that now that you mention it.
So, I dunno about you guys, but I can't stand when there's multiple of the same character (unless it's a generic model, such as Sergeant_Davin), so I always try to use underplayed characters, such as Herman the German, Foundry Worker Aldridge and Agent Wilkes.

It's so much better when there's not 2 Steam Skullys or Mike Nobles.
I just play Commando Chicken because it's pretty rare to find anyone playing him.
Okay. A little addendum to my previous rant about not jumping in front of the sharpshooter. If there's 3 scrakes gingerly strolling along a ways away and your sharpshooter is taking his time to make sure he lines his shots up properly, do not fucking spam grenades on them. Next person who thinks giant white smoke clouds in front of everything make my job easier, is on their fucking own. Swarmed by shit I could clear half of with one shot? Too bad. Your smoke trick blinded me. Scrakes lining up to cut you in half? Bet you wish you hadn't kept me from seeing them with your little wall of smoke. Fleshpounds raping you? Sucks that you're in a giant cloud of "I can't see shit."
I just play Commando Chicken because it's pretty rare to find anyone playing him.
You're gunna love what I've been working on, It'll just be a while before I can post it :v:
Honestly, I've seen so many shit players over the last few days it's astounding. Support who muscles in on the sharpshooter's job instead of doing his own. Medics (A LEVEL 6 ONE AT ONE POINT) who don't know how to heal with the medic guns. Demos that spam grenades at basically everything. Commandos who run off by themselves at the start of every single round. Everyone who pisses off the scrakes and fleshpounds instead of waiting for the sharpshooter with the M99 to initiate or eliminate. Edit: Automerge!
But there goin commando!
That's why I don't go on Hard servers so often, when half the time I can't win on a Normal server. The only times I end up on a Hard server is when I don't feel like waiting for the server list to appear and play 'server roulette' where I just randomly click one off the list when it first appears. It works out to an extent.
That was on normal servers. I haven't played hard since before an old favorite server of mine went down. I feel bad for genuinely new players who aren't good but are trying really hard, but then you get people who are clearly just bad or just not trying in the slightest to get better. Or who cheated their levels up. A level 6 medic should know how to use healing darts.
New players i can sometimes forgive, quiet a few of them are willing to listen to advice and do their best that often ultimately prooves not to be good enough. Now, people of higher rank that think they are gods gift to killing floor, who insist on fucking about in front of the group trying so very hard to be rambo, proclaiming to 'Know what they are doing'. They piss me off no end. New people join Hell on Earth servers without knowing what to expect, rank 6's should bloody know better and help the team, not be a huge pain in the ass getting everyone killed.
God, I feel bad now. We had a new player the last match I played, he was really trying but he just wasn't able to keep himself alive. He died all but 1 round, one of which was my fault because I was trying to down a fleshpound and missed the second headshot, and near the end he started catching shit. I defended him a little, but I know he felt bad. I wish I told him to add me so I could help him out a little, but I left after we downed the patriarch. I would search Steam for him, but his username was "Rainbow Dash" so it'd take approximately 10 years to find him.

I mean, I get that you like a TV show/game/movie/book/whatever, that's just fine. But why would you give yourself a really generic name that a lot of other people probably have?
I really can't say anything, my username on Steam right now is "Shen Cat" with a little cat version of Shen from League of Legends as my avatar.
Why not look at players list at view menu? It shows players from recent games.
Mostly because I couldn't remember where that was. Okay, lessee here... 6 games; TF2, KF, Portal 2, SFM, GMod, Source SDK... I feel less bad for some reason. Although that's probably just my subconscious fear of dealing with new people trying to keep me away.

I have the best name, nobody else has it.
Ran into a pretty awesome KF cosplay at Comic Con today.
