The recoil is a pain in the ass, I agree with that. I feel like I would get a lot more use if I could set it to semi-auto like the commando rifles. Trying to shoot semi-auto myself just feels less effective.

Uh, generally people don't buy medic guns off-perk. If you've got a medic, get them to buy it for you. I'm only level 4 and it's like 1750 for me, pretty cheap. A little less so since I don't sell my old one, but still.

I still haven't gotten used to my new firing speed as a level 4 sharpshooter. Before I could time my recoil adjustment just well enough to hit around 7/10 headshots when I had to dump rounds with it, now I'm lucky if I even hit 7/10 period. I was too complacent with my short range skills when I was level 3, now I look like a douche who doesn't know how to aim.
The recoil is pretty brutal, though finding out that I can take on most specimens myself is a big plus.
Wish more people used their mics in this game. Ya the voice quality is terrible on this game but it's better than trying to type out stuff.

I go pubbing a lot and rarely play with someone who has a mic. I think in the past two days of playing I've only met one guy with a mic. Just think it's odd that you can play a game like tf2 or css and everyone is talking but nobody says a word on kf.

Talking is infectious in games like this. When you have 12 vs 12 matches, generally at least one or two people have a mic and often times there's server regulars. That's what starts off the cascade of chatter and battle updates. In Killing Floor, you have 6 man servers that generally don't have regular players. And when you do get people on the mic, often times it's people with a [i]lot[/i] of background noise - seriously, turn off your fucking cement mixers and blenders when you're talking over the mic, I don't want to hear that shit - or people who are [i]too[/i] talkative. Worse than people who don't talk at all despite their mic, is people who talk too much.
No, I'm not 'jelly' of your M99, I could buy one too if I wanted. No, I don't wish I had it, I'm playing support. I guess I've just been lucky with the voip in this. It's fuzzy but I can still hear people clearly if they don't have a lot of background noise.

I like them because if anything, they made Medics more competent as a sub-combat class.
I hate the cheaper medic gun because, since it shoots so fast, it always has a bad cut-off with its sound effects.
