It still feels weak as fuck though. Maybe it's just the insane recoil fucking up my aim.
It's the sound, it has a hollow "pouw-pouw-pouw" sound as opposed to the other Assault Rifle's louder "CHSCHSCHS". Weaker sound makes you subconsciously label it as a weaker weapon.

Picked this up in the steam sale yesterday, can't wait to play it. Do you guys play on any specific servers?
Is a deathmatch mode where everybody star with the normal pistol, to win you need to get to the last weapon before someone else.
This is so fun. Everyone needs to get in here.
This is so fun. Everyone needs to get in here.
Is it the server you posted earlier?
Is it the server you posted earlier?
Yes.
Yes.
I might pop in for a bit then.
Woahwhatsthat? You need medic help? FUCK YOU QUIT SHOOTING THE DAMN SCRAKES AND LEARN YOUR LESSON.
I love people who do this, more healing points for me.
Oh man, having a key to throw very small amounts of dosh is the funniest thing ever. All night I've been watching players run into groups of clots and flesh pounds, diving multiple stories, getting hit by cars and being exploded by their own pipe bombs for about 10-20 bucks each.
How the fuck do you drop less than $50 at a time?
Edit the user.ini file, find the controls section, and put in "tosscash (Amount of money you want to throw) after the = sign. E.g m=tosscash 200
Sometimes I liked just getting as many types of pistols as I can hold and not using anything else, wheee.
Sometimes I liked just getting as many types of pistols as I can hold and not using anything else, wheee.
> being useless no but seriously if you're going to go pistols only you better be sharpshooter and using the hand cannons most of the time.
Actually, I find a single MK23 being amazing as fuck with an M14, transforms you into a headshot spamming machine of death on anything not named Suicidal.
-heh-
Well, I do much better with a Crossbow on Suicidal.
;36794842']Well, I do much better with a Crossbow on Suicidal.
well my point was that you also had a primary weapon, when this guy is going full cowboy with 100% pistols. and I've always been a M99fag, crossbow just feels weird to me. ever since it was added to IJC M99 all day erreh day (I miss the days of the whitelisted M99 that could 1-shot headshot the patty)
Well, granted I just run around with the MK23 and pull out the M14 if there's actual trouble. Otherwise I'm a pistol hero.
;36794988']Well, granted I just run around with the MK23 and pull out the M14 if there's actual trouble. Otherwise I'm a pistol hero.
thing is that M14 means you don't actually die when surrounded.
True, but I've seen some great spam from three pairs of pistols too. First the magnums, then MK23's, then Handcannons and then M9's can deal a surprising amount of damage. Just...reload time is kinda ridiculous for all of them combined.
So, I finally got a copy of Killing Floor. Seems like it's going to be a blast with friends. Any general starter tips for me?
> being useless no but seriously if you're going to go pistols only you better be sharpshooter and using the hand cannons most of the time.
[sarcasm]No, I do it as beserker.[/sarcasm] I'm not that stupid, jeez. And I use the magnums for the weaker zeds, the handcannons for Husk and up. And it's not that useless at all seeing as the group I play with are on normal most of the time where doing the above can get me top/second kills.
The best go to class is Sharpshooter for new players, when you enter a game it's the only class that you'll spawn with and have a weapon that gives you bonuses for using (ignoring berserker). Simply Shoot things in the head. When you get some money behind you, feel free to swap perk and buy weapons for that perk to try them out. Stick to Beginner and possibly normal difficulty, stay away from hard and certainly steer well clear of Suicidal / Hell on Earth. Play West London / Bitoics Lab, very common maps and great for learning the basics of Killing Floor on.
