[t]http://puu.sh/JjFB[/t] This screenshot amused me, kinda looks like my guy is using the Patriarch's corpse as a bridge over the puddle.
I never noticed that i had'nt actually beat HoE Bedlam, i could have sworn i'd done it a few times. Anyway set that right about 20 mins ago. Obligatory money spam included. 3 sharpshooters all with xbows, 2 supports and 1 demo holding left corridoor. easy as you like.
Medical MP5 is incredibly good. Little to no recoil, doesn't take much to take zeds down, I love it
Medical MP5 is incredibly good. Little to no recoil, doesn't take much to take zeds down, I love it
It's definitely my favorite out of all the medic's weapons. Although the new one is a close second, it's much better at longer ranges.

Costs little to nothing, decent crosshair, one hits weaker zeds, and you can find it scattered around the map

You must mean the iron-sights, which are good, but are ONLY good when standing perfectly still. If you walk at all, you get a sight waving like fucking crazy.

It won't take long, you'll have a good idea of where to center your screen.
A question, for the support specialist perk - HSG-1 or double-barrel shotgun?
A question, for the support specialist perk - HSG-1 or double-barrel shotgun?
I prefer using the double barrel because it can clear hallways with two shots and it's great to take out scrakes and fleshpounds.
A question, for the support specialist perk - HSG-1 or double-barrel shotgun?
Why not both?
A question, for the support specialist perk - HSG-1 or double-barrel shotgun?
Personal preference. HSG-1 has more reliability in longer combat situations. Clip fed and more shells in the pipe at once. The hunting shotgun is MUCH better for spike damage, though, dumping both barrels will deal insane amounts of damage. Best bet is to pick a shotgun for one or the other and off-set it with something else, whether another shotgun or offperk weapon is your choice.
Decent cross hair? You must mean the iron-sights, which are good, but are ONLY good when standing perfectly still. If you walk at all, you get a sight waving like fucking crazy.
Just focus on the front sight since it moves less. Trying to use both will mess you up.
Why not both?
Because I want to keep the normal shotgun
Because I want to keep the normal shotgun
But... the HSG1 is the normal shotgun but completely better.
But... the HSG1 is the normal shotgun but completely better.
Oh, okay.I just felt better with the shotgun, guess I'll use HSG1 and Double barreled. What should I ditch when getting the AA12?
When you can afford the HSG, swap for it, it's a better gun overall, flick on tighter spread and your already much better for lining up 1 hit kill columns.
Oh, okay.I just felt better with the shotgun, guess I'll use HSG1 and Double barreled. What should I ditch when getting the AA12?
Neither if your the only support holding a line, the AA12 eats up ammo and packs less punch than you'd think. If theres 2 of you, then yeah you can rock the AA12 but you'll have to watch the ammo, and i'd say always keep the hunting shotty, the alt fire will always be needed at some point.
But... the HSG1 is the normal shotgun but completely better.
The normal shotgun has more penetration, at least from what I experienced so far. You can kill more zeds with a single shot. Also you can reload single shells if you need more ammo, which can be quite handy in chaotic situations. Although the accuarcy of the HSG1 is so damn useful.
Don't die on me thread, I still want to talk about killing floor!
I usually have the opposite happen. I can never get to play a perk long enough to get sick of it. Last few times I've played, we ended up with 3 of whatever I was playing and I had to switch the next round. It's infuriating when you're the only medic for two rounds, then two people swap to medic and refuse to swap back. So two rounds later, you swap to something your team doesn't have any of - support. Then you check the scoreboard, and guess who swapped to support. They got sick of not being able to heal anyone because you were Johnny on the spot with the needles, and are now crowding your new perk. Even worse is when you've been shoved out of two perks in the first 6 rounds of the match, then your medic leaves and someone asks who's going medic. So you say - OVER THE MIC - that you'll go medic... and two fucking people swap to medic. Seriously. If your medic is doing fine, don't crowd him by swapping. If you're in an open map and your support is dealing with the few things that get close, don't fucking crowd him. If there are already two sharpshooters and there is 0 reason to swap to sharpshooter except so you can get more kills, don't fucking crowd them.
I wish there was a way to reset an individual perk. I want to do commando and sharpshooter again.
Found this ironic consider the map name (and yes this is a new glitch)

I end up dicking arround more that helping.

Perseverance. Or you can not give a fuck what your team is comprised of and just shoot specimens. It's what I do when I have a shortage of fucks to give.
Has hellride always been on abusement park? I'm noticing all these cool easter eggs on that map and we keep dying because everyone hordes around the dancing robot and we end up dying when we realize we're supposed to kill stuff.
