Oh god, that feeling when you're a berzerker and any other class just about shoots the enemy you were about to reach to kill. That's awful bullshit.
For medic, I usually use the new medigun, the new pistol, and a lever action.
The new medic gun is crazy good at clearing trash, the lever action is good for quick damage spikes from long range, and the pistol is really only used when the shit hits the fan and you don't have time to reload.
If crawlers are too much of an issue, I switch the LAR with the M79.
Alternatively, you can get an AK to level commando.

I played a game on hard on bioticslab not long ago. Everyone on the team was focusing on getting the most kills. We died at round 7 when the fleshpounds arrived. Is getting the most kills more important than surviving?

As off-perk, have you tried the Hunting Shotgun? It's crazy good at cleaning trash and dealing high amounts of damage to bigger specimen

I most often grab that gun when I go Field Medic, It may be damn heavy but I've still got room for an MP5 which is all I need most of the time.
Your standard pub team needs a medic, very rarely does a team get very far witout one.

I always use it as sidearm for Demo perk for killing off close specimens. Works really great.
But I prefer Handcannon as other perks.
It's the only gun I actually want to go Pistol hero on when sharpshooter in normal servers. Single MK23 seems to just deal massive damage with headshots and it's pretty accurate too, the barrel doesn't seem to jump in your way after firing, either.

Yep, a tank to take the aggro from a scrake/fp is just a lifesaver and gives everybody time to play calmly.
The increased resistance is as important as the healing potential for a medic imho.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind being able to sell my 9mm as long as I have another pistol. Those 2 blocks are usually what keeps me from buying other pistols, unless I'm playing around or going super gunslinger. It's great to have the 9mm to fall back on, but that's exactly what I'm buying the other pistol for. As a backup weapon.

Also, if you need Stalkers, play Suicidal. In some maps like Manor, there are like 20-40 every round.

Got two of my best buds/bandmates into the game last night. I must say playing this while skyping with your friends is the most fun ever. Especially when one of your friends has a tendency to scream very loudly :v:

Demo is pretty good on hard and suicidal. He takes care of fleshpounds and large groups of enemies really well.

Demo is fun to play when you get the real grip of the class.
No spam, is just a very patient style of playing: You wait until a very large group get in range and you make soup of the bloody idiots.

I go on Mountain Pass with friends sometimes.
We use a 10% friendly fire server and buy crossbows as soon as possible. Whenever someone spawns we tell them the manhunt has begun. Then we hunt them.

I remember when I joined a server, and I did this.
I had just joined, I asked everyone how they were, this one guy said "Help Mike, *insert name here* is killing us all, if you see him, kill him!" I said "Sure he is", quite sarcasticly, might I add. Anyway, I had spawned in after the round ended, went to the Trader, and asked for dosh. Now, I was sitting in the shop, and the guy who said *insert name here* was killing everyone, headshotted me. This prompted the demon inside me. In chat, I wrote "You dun fucked up", and then immediately switched to Demo. The round ended and I went on a killing spree, and murderized all of them (who were on each others friends lists, so it was justified). The guy who had killed me originally was the only one left alive, and me and *insert name here* teamed up to track this animal. They all left except me and *insert name here*, where when then proceeded to kill the Patriarch.
Not only did I get to use the M79 more, but I also added *insert name here*, where we became good friends.
This game is on and off sometimes.
Sometimes you have awesome moments like the story I presented to you earlier
But then sometimes, the game fucks you over with stupid teammates.
I love when I get the door behind me welded and the only other exit is behind two scrakes
