I exclusively play on Normal.
I'd play on Hard, or even Suicidal/HoE if my connection wasn't absolute garbage.

I find support the most fun to play
Support is slow until you get the HSG-1, then it starts to pick up.
I usually play on Beginner... I should really change that.

nah man being able to bullpup a fleshpound is priceless

I love how the medic is godlike.
You can knife anything and your tickle machine makes you Rambo :v:

I really don't care for that thing. I prefer the other shotguns to it. The only thing I really like about it is that it reloads via magazine instead of individual shells.

I actually hate the reload per magazine. In really crowded spots firing a couple of shells and then reloading is much quicker and effective

The only thing I really like about the magazine reload is when you're empty, once the reload animation finishes you're back to full. So in crowded spots, if you can survive to reload after going to empty, you've got full ammo to dump.
That being said, I will always take the combat shotgun over the HSG-1. Costs more and less shells total, but single reload is much better. Plus I don't feel like I have to juggle my firing rates.

The only reason I had to not like it was because I thought the game had a BF2 style reload system where you lose the rest of your magazine to reloading. I've since learned that this isn't true, and now have no reason to use any other SG over the HSG, save from the Hunting Shotgun or AA-12.

Urban Terror reloads
30 round mags, 2 extras, you lose everything when you reload
DAT RELOAD DISCIPLINE
[t]http://kf-wiki.com/images/3/38/Trader_Hunting_Shotgun.png[/t]
I usually like using this weapon whenever I have to take down a Husk or a Siren (And occasionally a Scrake) but its kinda bad that you can't reload until you use up your 2 shells.
yeah, E.Y.E. Divine Cybermancy does the same thing and it's annoying as fuck
I can carry 10 smg mags, they'll be gone in minutes, unless I feel like walking with 10-7 bullets
when i started playing KF and saw the ammo counter on the HUD, i really thought it used the "tactical reloading system"
also the KSG-1 is the best shotgun:
second largest ammo cap
relatively fast firing
weighs the least
tight spread mode = shotgun sniping
and still cheaper than the combat shotgun (i think)

Hard. I got support to 4 but it takes too long for me...commando goes faster for me :v:

well commando is a lot easier since the FAL, :P
Oh the world of killing floor, if i was not so laid back i'd be pretty pissed over this instead of laughing at my shitty luck.
Spent 20 mins or so trying to find a server with people on it that was not in excess of 100 ping (hard to come by these days), in the end i give up and instead hop on my server that was empty and stuck on suburbia HoE for some solo zerking.
Having fun when wave 2 ended and another guy joins as a level 6 firebug, i give him cash and stock him up but i'm not one for camping on that map so i kite about the place and he does his thing on the roof and we're progressing through the rounds pretty easily till wave 5 when he dies mid round and swaps to zerka as well, from here on we double team the waves side by side running about 50 laps of the map i clear a path ahead he deals with the zombie que we massed up behind. I can't ever recall having a random guy who i could trust not to get killed or get me killed when playing duel zerka (outside my friends that is) before we knew it we'd got to wave 10 when a 3rd guy joined, he was a zerka too and chose the right gear so we did not kick him thinking he could be of some use. 30 seconds into the round he died pissing of a fleshpound...

But we fought on and took down the extra 100 zeds together, honestly it was pretty easy going until we got 3 FP's at once but after a minor scare we dropped the 3 of them having only 1 go red on us and we we're home free, We made it though 10 waves watching each other backs and playing like champions. It's a shame 3 more people joined the server to ruin everything.

for 10 bloody waves noone joined, the second we reach the final wave It's like they smelt the possibility of a free steam achievement and so jumped aboard the ship and promptly sunk it. Could not kick any of them so had to put up with a mismatched team of leeches.
2 medics, a firebug level 2, and a sharpshooter level 3 ( left the split second the round started, had the tf2 pyro skin which makes it funnier)
Needless to say we all died. Funniest thing about it this is it happens every time i play suburbia i get to wave 10 / 11 on my own or with a good team mate and then a bunch of randoms spoil the party.
I just got a 163.9 MB update, anyone knows what's in it?
We have pushed out a new update for Killing Floor. The changelog is as follows:
In-game links to the new female character dlc
Resolved a long-standing server attack/crash
Fixed an exploit for the hunting shotgun
Fixed known map exploits and bugs
Oh, just fixes.
Fixed an exploit for the hunting shotgun
That bug was the best one i have ever seen.
No performance increase in the patch?
Well, fuck.
I guess I can't play Killing Floor until I chill with my friend this weekend. It will take ages to download that patch on my throttled 5kb/s download rate.
They also said they started working on the Steam Workshop integration with this patch.
That bug was the best one i have ever seen.
What bug?
What bug?
The bug that gave you infinite ammo for the hunting shotgun.
What bug?
Allowed the user the fire off all 62 rounds in about 10 seconds, without reloading.

It was a 1 time use per round tho, once you started shooting you had to shoot again within a small window (the reload window) or the effect would ware off. Virtually no use at all until later levels, oh and the patty would be ripped to shreds by it.
That video above shows it being used quiet a bit slower than what was possible.
Fixed known map exploits and bugs
They probably fixed that spot in KF_Departed, didn't they?
Goddamn that was an intense game.
I just killed the patriarch with 60hp and 30 armor left with Dual 9mm. Bastard had cornered me too :v:
They probably fixed that spot in KF_Departed, didn't they?
What spot?
What spot?
There's a painting in a staircase that you can jump on and avoid damage from everything but husks sirens and bloats. Occasionally a crawler would jump up and get you too.
So I opened KF and didn't have the New DLC Available thing in the corner
for a minute I thought my game broke
The Patty somehow killed all of my teammates when they surrounded him. Huh.
He does this if too many people surround him with melee.
