They are doing server maintenance atm, so activation is not possible right now.

I didn't try it, but I suggest to stay clear of it, considering people died all over like mad on Normal dificulty on TUTORIAL level.

God damn. I tried to run the game on the highest settings the first time I launched it. Big mistake. Got about 10 FPS with a GTX 480 and i7 920. Turned off Ubersampling and now it runs pretty well.

The first picture did not load, and my monitor is only 1024x768, thus displaying only the left side of the picture at first glance. So I read "this game is fucking gorgeous" *HIGHLY DETAILED ASS*

There've been worse. Much worse.
Although they did claim on their site that this DRM (which wasn't their choice) wouldn't interfere at all with the game or it's installation and all you needed was a one time internet connection. Let's hope they will not put up with the bullshit of any form of DRM (except steam or the like)

Played the game for about four hours now, and I JUST got to the first chapter, the prologue alone was that long. I'm in Flotsam now, and it seems like the game is just getting better and better.
The game has not been a disappointment so far, although there are some problems with the engine.

Yeah you can? I don't have a 16:9 monitor and it works fine fullscreen. I get the black bars though.
I'm getting my ass kicked in the temple courtyard. I once managed to kill everyone but the armoured knight and when I killed him he had managed a final blow that had bleed damage and it killed me.

It supports 1680x1050 for me though.
I heard about the 16:9 thing though. It must only affect 1920x1200 or something

No one talked about the resolution.
I don't have a 16:9 monitor, therefor I'm not using a 16:9 resolution. And it STILL works fine fullscreen.
I started out on Normal mode and got my ass kicked on the second fight of the game where you have to take the balista, so I turned it down to Easy. I think now that I've leveled up some I can do it on normal. Some of the abilities you can get from leveling are nice, like being able to block from all directions.
Yeah you can't really engage head on most of the time like you could in Witcher 1, I usually just hit people once or twice, roll away and wait for them to miss their attack, repeat.
Runs kinda like shit for me on my old 8800GT with AMD Phenom II X4 955 and Kingston HyperX 4 gigs @ 1600Mhz. Now I know it's an ancient card, but what puzzles me is that even on EVERYTHING set to LOWEST it's the same FPS.... And I even installed the Beta drivers :smith: Fuck, I am so disappoint.
According to the System Requirements the 8800 is the minimum it supports. :v:
