Aussies properly won't get the nude bits, the witcher nude mod I have seems glitched when the girls end up in poser mode, when they put their arms up on right and left sides straight.
Triss has a serious case of DAT ASS.
The only thing which is meant to be censored is in one side quest you can no longer recieve sex as a reward.
What quest is that? :D Also I heard to use the AXII you need to hold it for a while for it to take control. I haven't tried it yet but that pretty much explains why i never managed to take control of anyone/anything. The game looks amazing the lighting and the enviroment look fantastic. My main problem with the game are the doors, they're very annoying. There's also the map which is kinda meh and useless. I Also like the way they give you the quest description, like it's written in a book, kinda neat. Combat is a bit hard at first but later it gets easier after you get the hang of it,just use bombs signs and most importantly roll.
This game runs awful for me ( HD 5770, AMD athlon II X4 635 ) Lowest settings and barely 20 fps :wtc:
It runs fairly good for me on the High preset, Q9450 @ 3.2, HD6870. Rarely drops under 30, although I do get some annoying mouse lag from time to time even when it's just under 40.
My copy arrived, though I feel a strange compulsion to finish the first game before I start on this one. Even though it seems to go out of its way to piss you off at every turn I feel like there's a ggreat game buried beneath the running around, the fetch quests and the fucking long-ass loading screens.

The dragon bit at the beginning seems impossible, the game lags so much that I can't even time the enemy attacks right thus I can't block the attack and burning shit keeps falling on me. Shame, since it seems like a good game.
Think I'm going to cry, my Witcher 2 still isn't here - GAME are usually pretty punctual but this is a day late now, I blame the Royal mail turtle fuckers :( My copy of LA Noire will probably beat my copy of Witcher 2!! Least I have Terraria to keep me sane while I wait lol.
Letterbox, I just dislike it, especially in games
In movies it's perfectly tolerable, I mean with a 16:9 TV you'll hardly ever get letterboxing unless the movie's presented in 21:9. I can't fucking stand letterboxing in games though. There's no reason why a PC game can't support every resolution you throw at it, and a letterbox just feels like a lazy fucking patch-job. In every game I've played that has had it (mirror's edge, assassins creed, bulletstorm) it has never felt necessary in the slightest, and while you do get used to it there's no reason for it to exist in PC games.
I upgraded my computer just because of this game. Lags like hell on low. Waiting for a good patch.

I think they made that part way too hard considering it's supposed to still be a tutorial... Wait under cover until the dragon isn't near the opening. You can't wait too long though, since the cover is slowly burning too.
Anyone with a GTX 260 that can tell me how well it runs?
8800GT, quad core, 4gb ram on medium settings with obvious things like SSAO and Ubersampling off, getting roughly 20-40 fps depending on the current moment @ 1680x1050.

hope they fix that letter box and get SLI in fast
This game might have the best combat I've ever seen in a rpg and defintely the best swordfighting. Incredible.
Sweet jesus the Kayran was hard, took me 5 attempts. And Dayum triss. You hottie with no clothes.
Does this game utilize quad cores well? 90% - 100% load or lower?
I bet this game is awesome. IT WOULD BE NICE IF IT GOT PAST THE LAUNCHER GOD DAMMIT GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM MY SCREEN YOU FUCKING WOLF LOGO [editline]18th May 2011[/editline] Also what the hell, you can't bind keys for shit, 50% of the overall buttons are restricted or something
I'm sorry if anyone asked this one already but I did look at the older pages and didn't find this kind of question or answer to it so here I go: I got this game from steam and downloaded it last night and this morning I tried to play it. After I had registered my Witcher 2 and tried to play it this error sign came up and said: "The Witcher 2 failed to start (error code 51)." Then I tried to launch it from the .exe file and that gave me following sign: "Application load error 3:0000065432" I found some tips like "press Verify integrity of game cache" and "Check your firewall settings". I did those and still can't get it working... Any ideas what to do? I want to play this game so bad... :'(
After playing it for a hour more, it is definetly the best RPG I have ever played, kind of hard at times.
Got one of the problems, finally: dumbass Avast keeps deleting the main .exe file The "can't bind shit" is still annoying though. I have my mouse on the left and demand to play with the damn arrow keys. Or at least the keys I want. But nooooo.
Anyone else get the retail Premium Edition? I love the feelies it comes with.
Ordered Premium Edition off Amazon - First retail game I got since Call of Pripyat thanks to a severe case of Shut-up-and-take-my-money-itis contracted off Steam and it's crazy sales. Kind of depressing to see everyone who got the Steam version playing when I'm forced to sit here at the mercy of the postal service :smith:
should have used amazon
I used amazon, and my copy is a day late too when they are usually pretty punctual. My tracking says it still hasn't even entered my state yet, just like yesterday all day. At least they got me a $10 refund for it.

I swear I'm going to throw a dozen of baby seals down the stairs. Why in the goddamn clowns travelling on rollerblades can't I use half of my keyboard? I swear, the keys are either restricted or not recognized at all. AND I'M NOT GOING TO PLAY IN A POSITION THAT MAKES ME LOOK LIKE STEPHEN HAWKING JUST BECAUSE SOMEONE DECIDED THAT I CAN'T USE THE DAMN ARROW KEYS. Is there some editable file somewhere to cram my fucking decisions into the game's settings? [editline]18th May 2011[/editline] Found some config files and some useful key IDs. Testing it now...
How do I get to the back alley after they blocked the entrance ? It's where I have to find a secret passage.
