I just ran back to where I came from to regenerate health, they don't follow you there. Same with [sp]endrega queens[/sp]

Also, I had a bug where randomly my mouse or my keyboard stopped working in game. I could hit escape and move my mouse in the menus but in game it wouldn't work. It completely ruined the save I had too. I couldn't use the save at all, exiting the game and reloading the save didn't work. It's a good thing I had multiple or else I'd have been mad.
I have come across this mouse bug as well. Killing endregas when all the sudden...
I can't go on can I run it at the moment because I'm on the laptop but would this run it?
Intel Quad core 2.40ghz
Nvidia geforce 275 gtx 900mb (something around that memory)
3Gig Ram
Windows 7 (64 Bit)
The reason the world is in an uproar about this is because Bioware, The kings of RPG's made a game that felt just as open and deep as this, some 10 years ago. But since then, they've been leaping backwards like a nekkar dodging your sword and now we've got DA2. They can be compared because CDProject just made the game that everyone wanted since BG1!
The funniest thing of all is MOST developers are moving this way: Multi-platform, "streamlined" (Dumbed down) graphics and gameplay mechanics. More linear experiences are popular (I'm looking at you Crysis 2) and a $60 price tag for LESS of a game.
Witcher 2 bucks the trend by offering TONS of awesome content that was $44 on preorder, FREE DLC and graphics and mechanics that are top notch and take some skill and thought to succeed.
I love some of Bioware's stuff but if Dragon Age 2 is the direction they are heading, there are few companies left actually doing it right...
No matter which way you feel, the COD/HALO/Dragon Age 2 lack of quality in gaming is not good for gamers as a whole.
Nevermind, I realized I was playing The Witcher 1.
Oh flubadoo you silly goose.

Goddamn friend gave me a disc saying it was the witcher 1.
[editline]20th May 2011[/editline]
i'll get him back
did you seriously play through the prologue of the witcher 1 without realizing it was the witcher 1
if at all possible play through it a bit though, it makes understanding the lore of TW2 a bit easier
Ubersampling is... just.... How is anyone supposed to run that shit with anything less than God's PC?
The whole scene is rendered multiple times to give best possible texture and object details and antialiasing (better than antialias and anisotropy even on highest settings). It basically renders the game a few times. I don't even think Pixar does that with their computer farms for movies

I got UBERsampling to run at 50-60fps...
.. when I set my res to 1024x768 :) Seriously. It looks amazing, can't wait for a PC that will run it at a higher res.

Doesn't any kind of AA render the frame multiple times?

Maybe that's because Pixar renders their shit in a completely different way?

Is it possible to control how much AA you enable when you've enabled AA?
crafted kayran armor, great stats but looks absolutely horrible :(
Is it possible to control how much AA you enable when you've enabled AA?
No, I think it's 4x by the looks of it.

I don't like the look of it either, but 3 enhancement slots, mmm.
uber sampling at 1920x1200 is unplayable on my 6990 at the moment but when AMD releases a crossfire profile for this game it should be much better i hope

Starting Raven's Armor had 3 as well, so I wasn't expecting anything less :v:
Hung Over is a hilarious quest.
Also, bookshelf spy.

Motion blur on/off? Can't decide, FPS is better without but playable on both.
These are my current settings, and yeah it looks good but people are praising this to look just amazing and I'm not getting that, am I missing something?

I'd disable SSAO, in Bad Company 2 it reduced my fps by 20 but made practically no difference to the picture quality. Motion Blur and DOF look stunning in Witcher 2, so I'd enable them too :v:
If your system can handle it, turn on Anti aliasing and max out shadow/shadowed lights.
I hate motion blur on normal gameplay.. I leave it off.
If you max out those settings and you don't think it looks amazing, something else must be wrong :)
New settings:

Hopefully I'll get more of a wow factor this time around.

Motion blur makes me feel a bit sick, much better to just leave it off.

What I wouldn't give for a card capable of running 16x SSAA. Maybe in 6 years...
Does story actually get changed a lot when you choose to whether [sp]get Roche's revenge on king or not, to give Iorveth's sword back or not[/sp] and stuff like that?
who the fuck designed the kayran boss fight, since when was putting the checkpoint for the most difficult fight of the game so far BEFORE AN UNSKIPPABLE FUCKING CUTSCENE a good idea
Is there Chapter 3 or 4 because I think I have gone through only 2?
who the fuck designed the kayran boss fight, since when was putting the checkpoint for the most difficult fight of the game so far BEFORE AN UNSKIPPABLE FUCKING CUTSCENE a good idea
It's skippable, crazy.

You can skip it. At least I did.

all super sampling does is render the frame at 2, 4, 8, or 16 times the resolution and then downscale it to your resolution
it has nothing to do with any of the other shit you mentioned
who the fuck designed the kayran boss fight, since when was putting the checkpoint for the most difficult fight of the game so far BEFORE AN UNSKIPPABLE FUCKING CUTSCENE a good idea
Right click, not left click to skip.

I guess he meant that about the "rendering it multiple times" or something. Still wrong when he says it's better than AA, because SSAA is an AA method.
Right click, not left click to skip.
I was hammering right click because I saw the tip at the beginning of the game. Did nothing. Only rebinding I did was to rebind 'cast sign' to MMB.
