Looks like my quest "Little Shop of Dreams" got glitched, I can't talk to the shopkeeper anymore.
Any reason why the GoG version has steam_api.dll in the bin folder?
That fucking fight with [sp]Letho[/sp] is ridiculous. When his fucking quen times out he hits you with the Aard which knocks you across the room just long enough for him to cast quen again. I've only managed to get him down to half health, and that was by dodging around him so most of his sword strikes didn't connect then power attacking him from behind. Works well until he casts Aard on you then two hits you with his massive [del]penis[/del] sword. Kiting him into an Yrden trap works pretty well, but he's got Quen on 90% of the time which makes him immune to everything. Aard is useful but it's only really workable at range, and that's when he's got Quen on, and while he's not immune to it you can't do any damage to him in that state. They really need to patch the game so he uses Quen less often, it makes the fight incredibly frustrating.

I'm gunna play it through again and follow Roche's patch, probably level through the magic path mostly aswell.
Also, i never found any other sex scenes apart from [sp]triss in the bath[/sp] anyone know if theirs more?

There are loads of sex scenes.
Turns out I can run Ultra just fine if I turn off Bloom, US, and changed Texture downscaling to low and shadow quality to medium.
It actually looks better without bloom, in my opinion.

Turn the difficulty to easy, I beat him that way.
There's a rather large discrepancy between easy and normal, on normal he uses every trick in the book to destroy you, blocks all of your strikes if you attack him head on, and has more HP than the kayran. It took me like 10 minutes to get him down to half health then I died. On easy, and I'm not even exaggerating here, I just hammered RMB and in about 10 seconds he was dead, with me losing precisely no health.
I play this game with 10 fps and enjoy it. On Ultra settings.

turn down the settings then, it won't look as good but you'll enjoy it more
and turn ubersampling off if you haven't already

Nah. Buy a book on nekkers and endregas. You can buy them from a dwarf who lives in a house right next to the smith working out in the street.

Look for the tunnel entrances where the mist lies, south of Floatsam. You need 4 grappleshots (a sort of bomb) to close them. The cocoons can be found where there is heavy vegetation and thick jungles.

The nekker tunnels are kind of hard to spot but once you find out what they look like it's relatively easy to take care of them (you get a special action to drop bombs down the entrance but Geralt will only break them if he has a grappleshot bomb)
the cocoons are relatively easy to spot once you know what you're looking for. if endregas appear at all then it's likely you're near a nest. the cocoons look like bright stone pillars (there's three per nest). all you have to do is walk up to them, open them up and hack away at it. the queens are a cakewalk. they don't block and you can easily just smash them with your quick attacks.
