I actually found some full bottom nudity, Baby hole and all. A bit NSFW but you already know that. . Hot.
if you're talking about me it wasn't in the input options so I wasn't aware of it.
Mainly about the bombs guy. But still, the game offers quite a lot of pop ups with help and one of them is about the journal and how to open it.

I've been wondering if the combat engine could be made somewhat easier to use or just overall better - removing the double damage from attacks to the back etc. Then i read what the skills do. Damn.
I can't install the Troll Trouble DLC because when it reaches 100% it starts over.
The patch coming up is supposed to be fixing that, so wait until then - as i will... Why did it have to be an early-game quest?? D:
Can anyone give me an estimate on the length of the game without re-playability? And would you guys recommend it in general? OP should add some reviews.
Can anyone give me an estimate on the length of the game without re-playability? And would you guys recommend it in general? OP should add some reviews.
I'm 19 hours in, at chapter two. Thats missing three or four sidequests in Chapter one.

OP should add some reviews.
It's shorter than The Witcher 1, but that game was 90% padding, having about the same number of quests but strung out until you wanted to shit on a baby. I'd say there's a good 30-40 hours in there for your first playthrough. Not only that, it's priced the same as a regular PC game but with a collector's edition worthy box of goodies.. Basically it's the antithesis to Call of Duty, which aims to find how little content you can sell for an overinflated price. The opinions of it have been almost unanimously good, everything's been improved compared to the first game and if you like [del]RPGs[/del] [del]pc games[/del] games in general then you owe it to yourself to check this out.
-snip- Yeah, the first witcher could've used some sort of quick travel, like horses or some sort of teleport - like in Fallout NV. ( Not counting the three teleports in the 2nd and 3rd act)

Nevermind.
I would say this game is a no brainer buy if you are remotely interested in RPGs. The production values are through the roof and it looks amazing on a good system. I want to buy two copies to support what was posted earlier "The antithesis of Call of Duty" - Is the game perfect? No, but the more I play it, the more I like it. I was annoyed at the combat system at first but like it more the more I play. It is challenging and rewarding..
I have some trouble fighting monsters, in the first town after the prologue. I can still deal with those alien things, though they do sometimes overrun me, because I can't block all their fast attacks. I have a problem with spider-like ones in number though. 3 can nearly always beat me in a fight, if I try to parry the attacks they just overrun and kill me, and if I dodge them they slowly kill me by hitting me before I can attack. The queen I have to beat for the quest is especially troublesome.

Also, use Yrden - the stunning sign thingamajig. As for the spider ones, use Quen - the lighting magic shield and try to hit them with strong attacks - they don't seem to be capable of dodging them. Oh, and try to go for the warriors first - they're the toughest.
This is one of the best games ever made
Late (I think) Chapter 1 spoiler: [sp]Does anyone know how to easily defeat Letho? I have no stun bombs, no traps. I only have a sword and the signs. Do I need to go back to a earlier save and stock up there?[/sp]
There's one thing i've been wondering - have you guys ever read the books the games were based on? Sort of a quick survey thingy.
I haven't, never really thought of it.
Check out Meet The videos at official site. They are fucking lame.
So after killing the Kayran, how much playtime is still left, if anyone knows.

Anyone know there will be a patch for this shitty optimization?
Anyone know there will be a patch for this shitty optimization?
The new one is supposed to adress it.
What the fuck is up with the Letho fight? I've tried 5 times now, and the best I've done is getting him to around 9/10 health.
It's been like a week since the game launched and the official forums are still not up. That doesn't serve their reputation well.
For Letho (not spoilertagging because by the time you know who it is it's not really a spoiler that you will fight him) just keep attacking him, don't let him use Quen, if he does keep away and keep dodging until it goes away, then back to the dodge-attack to the back-dodge routine. Be sure to keep Quen up, for his fucking Ignii which can 2 shot you.

Does anyone else constantly have to get help online to figure out what to do? I couldn't figure out the nekker quest at all without checking online

Then I just hit him with aard that stuns him for a moment, keep attacking him until he's out of the stun, use aard again, repeat. At that point I was out of vigor and he puts his shield back up, but then I just repeat the whole process. I defeated him and he only managed to hit me like 1-2 times.
Does anyone else constantly have to get help online to figure out what to do? Either it's explained in there, or it's marked on your minimap anyway.
I never had a need to look online. Do you read all of your quest logs?
