At least you don't have to worry about your card melting. I risk overheat since this thing eats up 95% of my cards GPU, which makes it very frowny face very quickly. I'm looking at you, beautiful forests. :frown:

Yeah, just near the end I leveled it up and I face-palmed. Why didn't I do it earlier, all battles would been sooo much easier.

The Witcher 1 is my favourite game of all time, it just did so many things well, there was nothing that pissed me off that did in other RPGs.

You might be slightly confused about the characters and story, but it's not a requirement to play the first. You miss out on the background for the situtation you're in, but otherwise everything is explained quite nicely.

Haha I ususally end up walking everywhere :v:

The game is pretty enough, and the world design isn't repetitive so walking everywhere feels natural. Also because of fucking snare traps everywhere in the forest :(

Only time I usually run is in combat, or during a quest where I am backtracking some or where I'm trying to search for something in a specific area.

Wouldn't go that far, the story is great when it's actually moving but there are times when you're running between 3 areas with long loading screens in between them for HOURS on end, doing quests for inconsequential douchebags who you don't give a shit about, losing sight of the main story for literally hours. Combat isn't the worst I've seen in an RPG, but given the amount of annoying fights you'll encounter it eventually gets tiresome. I don't think they had enough money to make such a long game enjoyable all the way through, so while some chapters are great others are 90% padding. The heightened production values in TW2 are really a blessing, the game just doesn't lose momentum like other games of this length (even dragon age fell into this trap a few times, and that was a high budget game made by a studio who had done that kind of game countless times before).
