portal 2 is nice and all but it's not a game worth keeping because it has the replayability of a rock and nobody wants to play the same handful of repetitive co-op levels (or play co-op at all. i don't want to spend my free time planting portals; i want to spend my free time killing shit)

let's face it: portal 2 had only enough content to make it a $20 game. especially in comparison to orange box, which we were spoiled with like five or something games in the bundle.

Valve went with quality over quantity sure, but why can't we have both? It was so fucking short and fully priced. I'm saying as a business decision that wasn't wise and thats why retailers freaked the fucked out so much and sold the new copies cheaper than the used copies they were getting the next fucking day.

I preordered it on Steam. I don't own any current gen consoles. I don't know why anyone would buy a Valve game for one. But fact of the matter is that many people who could trade in their game did, and I'm sure if it were possible to trade back the PC version a great many people would have

Played it, seems great, but on the hard side, nearly got pwned by the dragon, and the battle system gets a bit easy to work out. I hated battle system in the first one.

Its actually why I regret purchasing it. If the game is mainly singleplayer without any true multiplayer modes, I usually wait for a sale. I think about it as $1 per hour of gameplay, and with Portal 2 being about, what ten hours tops with the coop, it does not equal the $50 I spent on it. While its fun, the price:playability ratio is not good at all.

Just bought the Witcher 2 last night. I got to play it for about half an hour but had to get ready for bed because I get up early in the mornings. I like how its not your traditional RPG, and I'm going to play it when I get home from work tonight. :smile:

It's funny because the PS3 users are just as bad, and PC users have their heads up their asses.
It's a step in the right direction, hopefully PS3 users get to experience it somewhere down the road.
