if you want to keep your old savegames but don't mind them not being in your list for now, just archive them using WinRAR/7Zip/etc.

Holy shit this game is fucking hard, the hardest one I've ever played in my entire life. What the fuck where the devs thinking when they implemented this combat system where you can attack 1 enemy at a time? I get totally raped when I get attacked by multiple enemies. ATM I'm stuck in Flotsam on the mission where [sp]an elf chick is accused of conspiring with the Scoia'tel and I must go into some cave to find out what happened to 2 guards or whatever[/sp]. There are like 20 goddamn Nekkers and Nekker Warriors, I get utterly fucked in less than a minute since I don't even have place to move and not be attacked.

The biggest trick to take out a lot of Nekkers is to roll a lot and use bombs. They are especially sensitive to fire so if you can get some bombs, like Dragon's Breath, you can ignite the ingredients with igni and do some serious damage.
Nekkers spend a lot of time howling, roaring and douching around so isolating yourself to take out individual nekkers is always pretty easy. I take out the weakest ones first and then go for the warriors.
I love that this game is genuinely difficult, it's a very nice experience compared to most hand-holders.
The price of the game dropped to 39.99 on Steam, probably because the game sold so poorly.
