I take my time. I wandered around a lot, explored every bit, read everything in the Journal, talked to everyone, did all the sidequests etc.

like almost everybody i've talked to i had to baby through the quest because the trails go right through the nekker hives and shit so the trail gets lost so quickly from all of the leftover corpses

Finding Robust cloth was the biggest problem for me. Went with Hunter Armor until I could find some. God damn, wasn't until like halfway through that I found the recipe for making Robust cloth. I am piss :mad:

I actually went the wrong way and followed the trails in the city. Was confused as all hell when I didn't find him.
What does the [sp]draug armor[/sp] look like? Never crafted it, read that it was not very good by the time you could craft it.
Past that part with Triss, gotta find her, but going into mines with drawves and still don't know what to do, got a key though, wtf is going on............

Go to a campfire with flint in your inventory, ask about a room at an inn, or some characters allow you to rest in their houses.

Use your medallion (Z key), it shows up on the ground where the blood trails are in a bright orange glow.
It still is kind of a mess, though.
