The Witcher Megathread - Games

Finished my first playthrough. Ch 3 felt much shorter.

i find it silly that they are releasing withcher 2 without releasing the first one on consoles... i heard they were gonna do it but they canceled

The people that played the first game played it on the PC, not only that but only PCs have the power to run the game at optimal settings (which the developers would want players to experience). I agree that it should be on consoles too, everyone should experience this game. But stating that it's 'silly' to release a game on the PC before it is released on consoles is stupid.

I mean I found it silly that consoles didn't get the first witcher but are getting the second one. Would rate bad reading but that's gone

Damn, I think the battle for vergen glitched or something, because everyone was just standing there, i did end up doing the oil reserves and shit, apparently, suppose to follow Saskia to the mines.

Yeah, restarting hoping to see what happens again. Also I keep using spells to knock out people down the bottom. Suppose to let the others fight them all really. Wish I could of saved the troll.

What graphics settings in this game other than SSAO affect visuals the least while improving performance the most?

Anyone have a link to a working weightless mod? I hate having to worry about what to throw away and I'm about to start my third playthrough.
