Hot steamy dwarf on dwarf anal sex then?

Geralt on Boussy.
Yeah beat that one.
I would have had so much sex if every time I played this game, I was home alone.
Upgraded Quen is godly. Not only was I temporarily invincible, but every time I was hit I did a lot of damage to 2 enemies. Fighting [sp]Sakia-dargon[/sp] at the end of the game was stupidly easy. The flames had absolutely no effect on me
Yeah beat that one.
geralt on the troll and his wife
Dragon on Kayran
Not that they had much credibility before, but PC Gamer gave Witcher 2 an 89 and they just gave Duke Nukem Forever an 80. I am just stunned at the current state of gaming and reviews...
Different people review the game, you know.
Right but regardless of reviewer and genre, Duke Nukem is a buggy, unpolished turd. Witcher 2 is complete opposite yet.. the scores are similar.
Yeah, most of the plot in the first is centered around politics and the second, while it definatly has more of the interpersonal struggle for the conflicts than the first, still has a very strong political backbone. Act II gets really into the politics, except with a fantasy spin since you're dealing with a king who wants to invade X land for X political motivations but can't due to a mystical curse that has plauged the land, and the fact that X politcal conspiracy has conspired against him as king which may or may not be tied to earlier conflicts with another king in the game, etc.
It's pretty deep. Not the kind of deep I can fully appreciate though. I like more interpersonal conflicts, though the political intrigue definatly gives the story some grounding to it.

You don't even need money that much except to buy the occasional craft diagram. The best stuff you get in the game is either given to you, or you craft it yourself anyways.
You're right about it being very politcally orientated (just like the novels were - very politically and ethically orientated) but GOTHIC fantasy? Lolwot.
I'm sorry, but if you think that the Witcher is Gothic fantasy I... I don't even know. It's somewhere between High and Low Fantasy, but in A Song of Ice and Fire way, or in a Dragon Age (Origins, not that abomination we call 2) way, in that it tries to approach mature concepts (politics, large moral issues [better than DAO/DA2 did]) in a mature and well thought out way, Oh, and there are a lot of interpersonal conflicts, they just mature throughout the story, and some rely on you having read The Witcher novels (at least The Last Wish and Blood of Elves) and having played TW1. But as for those that flower within the story - [sp]Ves' interactions with a lot of the characters, especially in Act 2. Vernon and Iorveth's rivalry, and major spoilers here - Vernon & Henselt, Vernon & Radovid depending on certain endgame choices[/sp]
I'm only referring to one half of the game from where it diverges as well
So I played The Witcher all day today, obsessively completing all the sidequests I could in Chapter 1. I'm pretty OCD about sidequests in RPGs.
Then I looked at the game guide that came with the GoG version, and saw how many sidequests there were in Chapter 2. :gonk:
Okay, I can't fight for shit in this game.
I keep on trying to parry after strikes, but it doesn't work.
I sucked at the final fight, so I just forgot about it, and then finally got the witcher 2, and got a saved game from the witcher 1, that's about it.

early in the game? use quen. parrying isn't very useful until you get better at your swordsman class and can parry in all directions without taking a loss in health. you can also get counters really early on so you can do some serious damage while parrying foes.
How does the game differ in the beginning depending on your actions in the first?

So just use the quen sign until like..that river monster quest?

iirc you only get a couple of different dialogue options

i would say either focus on mage or swordsman. you only get to level 35 as that's max level and so you only get about 40 skill points total. that's only enough to fill up one tree. you can go 50/50 and get amazing quen AND swordsman stuff but if you just save it all for one specific grouping then it's better for you. with swordsman you can pretty much get it set up so parrying doesn't take away any vigor or with mage you can have it set up so quen is pretty much godmode the whole way through the game
i'd use quen until either you can upgrade quen enough to just be boss beyond belief OR until you have the ability to block all directions and can counter attack.

Is anyone facing these random crashes throughout the game?

oh christ, there's a witcher nexus now?
the game is too masculine and difficult for the main nexus fanbase to like it though, so that's something at least
Is there any working weight mod for the 1.2 patch ? preferably Infinite weight but higher maximum weight does the trick too.

well not as common and bad as the Oblivion/Fallout stuff but still it's like no game is safe from the awful side of the nexus community
Hey where do you find the bandit hideout in Flotsdam? I found myself in the waterfall and I see nothing but a bunch of organ donors.

they should be here

[sp]you get the key for it from the bandits you kill in the Troll Trouble quest[/sp]
Holy shit, there's more to that map?!
Better sharpen my Witcher blade now...
There was never any quests in that part of the map was there it was strange to me as every other part was used
After reading what Roche's side is. I am sure that going with Iorveth and [sp]saving phillipa[/sp] is the best thing to do
WHAT? And [sp]leave Triss behind after all she's done for you?[/sp]. You monster! :ohdear:

What? Come on now, a monster? Broche and I have to [sp]save the kid[/sp].
Best thing probably is [sp]go with Iorveth, save Saskia and let Letho live. Letho only wanted to help Witchers in Nilfgaard (plus he actually defends and saves Triss from the Nilfgaardians), Saskia is the only politically important character that isn't an asshole/psycho (though I saved her ass from that curse and all I got was a thank you, what the shit). Triss isn't very important for the grand scheme of things (letting Henselt live I don't know, guess we'll see in the expansion).[/sp]

Can you even [sp]Kill Henselt if you side with Iorveth? I kind of feel bad that I didn't kill Letho because Foltest was a bro and I made a promise to Roche[/sp] :saddowns:
It said Examine..
