The frequency with which character models are reused in The Witcher is absurd. I can't count how many times I've met the same old man.
Oh shit. [sp]I hate basing my decisions off my ideals. At Crossroads between Roche or Iorveth. Iorveth wants to establish a free Elven state and his ideals involve killing tons of humans. Roche is just a bamf soldier with a cool turbin and similarly skilled men. I mean I support the nonhumans but not to the point in where I collaborate with a fanatical terrorist leader with strecthed delusions of grandeur. Not to mention that Roche was once a bro of Foltest and he allowed Geralt a chance to help clear his name. Not to mention that Roche hates me now for throwing Iorveth his sword.[/sp]
Ffffuuuu
Who is using Russian translation here? Is it ok?
OK, FUCK THE WITCHER 1. Fuck it. It's fucking impossible. The first major battle (against 'The Beast') is fucking impossible. I give up.

it is literally the easiest fight in the game, just stun it with Aard and you can instakill it

Broche for real. [sp]Plus through dialogue options you find out the The Blue Stripes don't hate non-humans (most of them don't anyway), they're just doing their job. Iorveth and the Scoia'tael are quite brutal after all, so Roche fights back in a similar manner.[/sp]

Every time I charged my Aard, it stayed stunned for all of 2 seconds. Like I said, I ended up editing my save and giving myself Specter Oil, which made the fight a cakewalk.
Anyways, my copy of TW2 arrived. Installing now. Probably going to ignore the first game. I should really stop buying sequels before I play the first in a series.
I found the Witcher 1 far easier than 2

Yeah that choice was hard for me too. However Iorveth [sp]won't go unpunished, can't remember the final conversation with Saskia but I recall her saying that he'd have to answer for his crimes. Even if he doesn't get his head lopped off he won't be killing any innocents as long as Saskia is around.[/sp]

I hated how you had to either chose Roche (or Broche, since it fits him being one of the more awesome characters) or the interesting path (Iorveth's path is much better than Roche's path, but Roche is a thousand times better than Iorveth).
The elven ruins was a tough choice. It wasn't a choice of who do I ally with, it was a choice of who do I backstab. I chose to [sp]help roche because I thought Iorveth would kill Roche if I gave him his sword, I redeemed myself later on by siding with Iorveth. Then when I met up with Roche when I crossed the mist, he forgave me because I told him that I don't owe him shit and that I would still capture Letho(I let him go)[/sp]
[sp] In my game Geralt went with Roche because he always sides with humans and doesn't give a fuck about non-humans (especially since I continued from my save in the Witcher 1, where he sided with the Flaming Roses and fucked up all the non-humans in Vizima). Then after being so nastily betrayed by Henselt he let Roche kill him. After that he saved Anais from Dethmold (really didn't expect of him to be gay, but I enjoyed to see Roche castrate him :v:) and gave her to Temeria, thus worsening his relations with Redania and Radovid (which obviously hates him now, hurray). And then he let Letho go since he's a bro witcher that doesn't think of him as an enemy. In the Witcher 3 I will fight for the Northern Kingdoms, even if defeat is certain. The Nilfgaardian empire and it's Emperor can go fuck themselves[/sp]
Black bars everywhere
Finished the flashback sequence of the assault in the prologue of TW2. The combat is so good. I'm not sure I can go back to the frustrating, mundane combat of the first to finish that game.

And how do you side with [sp] Iorveth after the elven ruins ?[/sp] I don't remember anything like that, and [sp]having the nonhuman city closed off and me unable to help saskia just because i didn't help a bunch of annoying butchers pissed me off[/sp]
I didn't have to change out of the blue stripes combat jacket until the end of the 2nd act

You get a prompt to either go with roche or talk to zoltan. I decided to talk to Zoltan
Oh... right, forgot about the talking part...
Also about the blue stripes jacket and the mage's equipment, that shit is really OP, i didn't have to change gloves for the entire game and only managed to find a better pair of pants on chapter 3.
Regarding the field you go to after Flotsam. [sp]Is there any way to help in the conspiracy against the king? He's much of an asshole.[/sp]

There is a way but it's later on, you'll know it when you see it.

End of act 2 spoilers, obviously doesn't help you since it's a spoiler but [sp]If you sided with roche, at the end of act 2 you can choose to have Henselt live or die by the blade of Roche, as Henselt allows Dethmold to hang Roche's entire legion, due to the conspiracy rumors.[/sp]
Another thing..what the Hell do these Mutagens do?

There are little slots in your skill trees that you can put the mutagens into.

Anyways, quen like mad. I killed him entirely using Igni, though I had all my mage stuff soup'd up and used potions that enhanced signs.
