Does the console version cater to the fact that console players won't have played the first game and can't import saves and decisions?

Took me forever to download this at 180 kB/s, now I'm getting corrupted files. Wonderful.

download it from the GoG downloader not the patcher and do a fresh install. that worked for me

Strange, I had no issues with the patcher myself. Turned it on and off over 3 days and after I downloaded the final package on release day it worked without a hitch. I too had to download at a disquieting 180 kB/s though.

Tried playing, nope, PC still overheats. I guess I'll miss the EE.

So apparently, the American release has some scenes censored, while the European versions are completely uncut.

Good. I was confused because when I played through on the PC it wasn't censored. I didn't think they would censor the Xbox version.

Well would you look at that, the new cutscenes are broken, I only hear the sound, there is no picture. Other people have the same issue, it seems it's related to 16:10 aspect ratio. Jesus Christ, CDPR, you make great games, but you fucking SUCK at testing them and making them work.

OK, I give up. I can't get the patch to work on my retail version. Just going to download it from GOG. Is the GOG download fully patched to the Extended Edition already? Or will I have to download more once I download the initial 15 GB?

It's doesn't run any differently to me. I was hoping it would.

Every time I start up this game, the first time setup goes and fucks around with .Net framework. Is this just me, or what?

Started new playthrough and not much difference at the start. Before that though I tried few of my end game saves and sadly out of the two I tried both of them were bugged. Lastly, I tried an autosave and it worked alright so I could experience epilogue and saw that they really focused on Chapter 3. I actually noticed some frame drop in one of the last cutscenes. wtf real men play dark mode leather jacket+pants the whole way through

Armor of Ysgith. You can get it in Chapter 3 for free (only need to kill few monsters). Said to be the second best armor in the game if you aren't playing Dark Mode. Vran Armor has better defense but this armor gives you +1 Vigor and some other nice bonuses. Also Dark Mode pisses me off with those curse effects. Especially if you are fighting in a cave.

Doing sidequests in chapter 1 at the moment. So far what's new is that pigs, dogs, cats and ducks run around in Flotsam, some parts of quests where you had to go somewhere yourself became cutscenes and overall the lighting seems improved.
