Welp, finished the [sp] Clan Wars mission. I immediately regret siding with the Zafords.
I should have changed my mind the second I saw Tector carrying Jimbo on his shoulders during the fight[/sp]
[sp]I regretted joining the Zafords too, if you join the other family and kill the Zaford leader, he drops the only masher in the game.[/sp]
Oh someone already mentioned what I just said already.
Say uh. Does anyone have a Vladof infinity they'd be willing to trade? I'm on the PS3 version and I want two of them really really badly
Hyperion guns would be a lot more tolerable if their "beginning" accuracy/recoil wasn't horrendous.
At least they're not Dahl.
I haven't found a single decent Dahl gun except for these elemental pistols, it's the only thing that works reasonably well with the burst fire.
As for weapons, I think Jakobs' is my favorite.
My favorite weapon type in this game is the manual revolver, which you shoot by pulling back the hammer.
Second favorite is Maliwan, mostly because elemental SMGs are great for Sirens.
Dahl snipers are really great, but a lot of them chew through ammo with like 4 shot bursts that are just overkill.

those giant mags help out a ton when you're gunzerkin
Torgue Rocket launchers
Most of the time, you kill both yourself and the enemy!
Hey Freddi, any luck on trying to rig those slot machines? :v:
Playing with pubs is the best thing I have ever done.

Yeah dahl's strength is definitely in their pistols, they're my favourite type of pistol too, they fire pretty accurate without zooming so you can have the choice to fire normally or burst (no point zooming in and shooting things from afar because snipers are just plain better for that)
The SMG reward was worth it. Electrical and slag? Damn good weapon. Especially for Maya.
It also slags the user.
The smg's good, I just don't like that it's hyperion. Unless that's variable.
I just don't like hyperion guns in general.
I don't like that you need to waste a few bullets to get your gun accurate enough to hit anything.
I didn't think I'd like Hyperion weapons, but they really grew on me. Any initial shots you might miss might as well have been missed due to random spread with other weapons. They kind of suck without large magazines though.
Does anyone else find Lynchwood a bit strange? I mean, it's not visited at all in the main quest which is odd given how it is supposedly a significant location for Hyperion and there's the whole deal with the Sheriff which was again strangely underdeveloped given who she was. At first I thought maybe it was a bit rushed and was added towards the end of development or something but then I remembered the sheriff having a character bio on the official site for ages so I don't think that's it.

In a way it kind of feels like it could have been expanded on and made into a DLC instead of put into the main game.
Crossposting I just posted in another forum. Basically it was a thread suggesting a Claptrap DLC class, and I came up with this
What about a SSB-Princess Zelda style Steve and Claptrap thing? Action skill swaps between the two, Claptrap is faster, reloads quicker and fires quicker, while having lower health, while Steve is tankier and slower.
Maybe as a action skill modifier you can have it that swapping spawns a Cluck-Trap/Midget Steve.
Anyone want to trade for some skins/heads of mine? either some heads/skins that i don't have or cash

What you got? I have a spare acid net skin for the runner, Tediore customer service and vladoff sickle for commando.
I know I have tediore cs and vladof sickle
I have 2 minecraft commando heads, 2 minecraft commando skin, 1 gunzerker minecraft head, [sp]geary's [/sp](3/10 spoiler)assassin head, 1 minecraft assassin head, and 1 All Seeing Eye siren skin
I'll give you the acid net skin for the all seeing eye if you'll take it.
Damn, it's shame you can't max out two skill trees by the time you hit the level cap but whatevs, save the hype to max out the rest with DLC.

I reaaaaaaaaaaally hope that one DLC is a casino, filled with slot machines, no! MADE OUT OF SLOT MACHINES! IT WILL TAKE PLACE ON A PLANET MADE OF SLOT MACHINES!
Why must all rare weapons have a gimmick? I just want a straight shooting powerful gun thats rare so I can feel accomplished and rape shit at the same time.
I came across a blue assault rifle today and its stats were pretty awesome looking but when I fired it the bullets went straight up and arced down like a goddamned mortar. I have to aim practically at my feet to hit something 10 feet away. What the fuck.
Holy shit, I just got the same exact weapon. I can understand they wanted it to be unique, but it can go overboard sometimes
Also, I haven't seen an E-tech weapon since the quest to introduce them
Well, after finishing the game and starting on the second playthrough, here's some of my comments/grain of Salt.
First, the scaling system is sort of fucked up. I played with three friends through the entire game doing all the sidequests. We were level 28 and the weapons we could find were all around level 24. Lynchwood got us completely butchered due to bad equipment. Now, we're level 34-35 on the second playthrough and we are still finding weapons level 30 at BEST.
The scaling seems to be following main quests, rather than the player level. If you play the entire game doing only the main quests, you'll always find loot of your level. I feel this needs to be fixed, because enemies in story mission levels up on you, but your weapon do not. (Although this won't be a problem for certain build that doesn't make much use of weaponry).
Anybody had the same problem, or is it just me / my friends?
also, lag compensation is fucking weird and breaks Torgue weapons up for me.
I haven't noticed any problem with weapon levels. I've been finding good stuff, Especially when i first started the second playthrough. Found much better versions of the stuff i currently had within minutes.

You just have to read the prefix/ Suffix of a weapon, it tells you a lot about its behavior, especially with assault rifles.
An X rocketeer is an assault rifle that shoots rockets, for an example.
Dah, screw stalkers on playthrough 2!
screw everything on playthrough 2
