I failed it on purpose, so I could get more EXP fighting at Friendship Gulag. When I did it there were 7 Super Badass Loaders. Loads of exp.

Caustic Caverns are awesome.
caustic caverns is literally the most infuriating place to ever exist. You can't go anywhere without getting hit by any 1 of the 4 most infuriating goddamn creatures in the game: varkid, crystalwhatever the fucks, threshers (fffff[B]fffff[/B]), or spiderants.

Before that point, you A) probably don't have any corrosive weapons and B) have only fought enemies that are susceptible to incendiary weapons. It's entirely possible you're focusing on high-fire damage, in which case you're pretty fucked.

I'll give you Varkids, but the rest are easy. Crystalisks are super satisfying to kill and explode into money. Have you not fought Rabid Stalkers yet?

I do more damage shooting their crit spot with my sniper rifle or my shotgun, either takes one hit with the shotgun or two hits with the sniper to destroy a spot. With meleeing? Takes way more than 2, and they do that dumb thumping the ground attack.

Mine are 5626x5, one is Fire, one is Non Elemental, then there's the 5200x5, both Slag, then there's that.
