As either Zero or Axton, you're pretty wrong. Yeah, I can use a high accuracy shotgun and get lucky and some how get a crit on all three legs, or I can effortlessly move between legs with melee and move speed buffs that both of them utilize and just destroy them. Either way works, but I seriously almost always find it takes more shotgun or sniper rounds to the legs than melees.
I've used an 10 round jakob sniper and been through all the rounds with every shot critting and still not killed one of them.

No, doing [I]that[/I] is stupid. One melee hit to the crystals on their legs destroys them whereas shooting at them takes fucking ages. By using melee attacks on them they don't even have a chance to finish their emerging animation before they're dead.
Also I just finished 'Crouching tiger, hidden assault rifle'. This is the skin you get.

It wasn't worth it.
Its easy to take crysts down with a shotgun or sniper, I can take a leg down in about 2 hits each.
Melee works to, I just prefer not getting close to their god awful melee attacks.
Torgue shotguns are super op against crystalisks.

what you have to do is go to claptraps place, grab the gear in the fireplace, go to the eridium blight without respawning or fast travelling (you can use vehicles), go to the top of the volcano, let geary hit you once, then let him jump in the lava.
there. that's how you activate the easter egg.
i didn't mean crystalisks are hard, i just meant that they're an absolute pain in the ass, because they swarm, do knock-back explosive damage, and wont leave you the fuck alone.

You guys must have terrible weapons or something, I've always had less trouble shooting them than meleeing them...
What does the red text for the Blood of terramorphous relic do? I just killed him in 12 seconds with conference call + bee as zer0 and 0.5% hp regen is puny. My hp is 50k and that's only 25 hp regen a second. Is there any reason it's so rare?

No. I JUST did the fridge last night, on Axton at level 40, with a Jakob's sniper that hits for 4k. still took a lot. no, I didn't miss.
On Zero, anything but melee to them is wasteful. On Axton, he has a move speed buff, I can hit all 3 before one of his melee attacks.
You must all be horrible at melee.
On Maya/Zero I just snipe the legs off, on Gunzerker melee kills one and my shotgun blast kills the other two. On Axton I just throw a turret and that completes missions for me while I read this thread.
why is it that there is no references except for a few signs and stuff and no remaining weapons from Atlas Corporation? I know they basically got fucked off of Pandora by the end of General Knox dlc in borderlands 1 and when [sp]Steele is shanked by the first vault monster[/sp] but wouldn't there be at least something left of them? It's probably going to be a DLC I bet.

Those things are piss easy as Zero. Just take out the front two legs from a distance, then ghost and take out the back leg in one hit.
With that recloaking perk, you can basically whittle away with a sniper and then take out every fucker in the room in one go.

They should have made a couple atlas weapons drop from enemies, and they will look all rusted or old. Not like jakobs wooden old, but like wear and tear old.

Uh what? Did you miss the fact that the Crimson Raiders is almost entirely made up of Crimson Lancemen? Or that badass marauders wear Crimson Lance armor pieces?

That is literally it. In the logs in sanctuary it says you either become a bandit (Badasses wearing the armor) or join up in sanctuary
