Very dissapointed that Butt Stalion wasn't a boss
got to level 50, some random guy joins and drops me 2 conference calls a bee and a load of other legendaries and just leaves before i can even say anything not sure how to feel...killed terra in 30 seconds or so...saved me some time i guess but no sense of achievement from having got them myself...
Very dissapointed that Butt Stalion wasn't a boss
Agreed, but you figure that [sp]we've already killed Jack's girlfriend and his daughter, then wiped out his army and his warrior. Do we REALLY need to kill his horse too? ...of course we do.[/sp]
I want jack to come back as a zombie. or a cyborg. Yeah a cyborg, that makes sense with hyperions tech. [editline]10th October 2012[/editline] just so i can shoot him again.
Just beat this game. [sp]If Jack had actually taken more than two bullets to kill then maybe the fight with him could have been noteworthy. The game itself hardly disappointed though. Gearbox assembled the story and placed key locations fairly well, such as the second last area of the game being in Fyrestone. Some of the optional bosses were fairly stupid like Saturn. I killed him taking no damage just because none of his firepower could breach the almighty box.[/sp] I'm starting a new game as Melee Zer0. Hopefully it will be more interesting than sniping and not being able to die from insane health regeneration with Maya.
Max out the Bloodshed tree and Zero becomes absolutely ridiculous, especially if you're fighting enemies of slightly lower level. Melee-build Zero is my first (and currently only) playthrough character and I've enjoyed it greatly.
[sp]If Jack had actually taken more than two bullets to kill then maybe the fight with him could have been noteworthy.[/sp]
I feel like that was the point. [sp]The only thing making Jack any different than a normal person was his position of power. Without an army of roots and engineers to hid behind, he's just a normal human being. He's not this huge god-like deity that he believes he is. And that's what's so tragic about him. If he didn't have such a twisted perspective of himself, he'd probably still be alive.[/sp]
I love when Deathtrap gets a kill and Gaige says in a deep voice, "M-M-M-Monster kill kill killll" :v:
I love when Deathtrap gets a kill and Gaige says in a deep voice, "M-M-M-Monster kill kill killll" :v:
Just got slagged as her for the first time. "Eww, smells like piss and nachos." "Uggh, it's in my mouth!"
Also first time I gave Claptrap the bullymong fur, and I love it. Does he keep it the whole game? [img_thumb]http://puu.sh/1dean[/img_thumb] [editline]10th October 2012[/editline] Gaige is now my favorite character line wise. Headshot a bandit? She says "Boop!" in a cute little voice. Kill everyone in the area? "That's right, fear the cute little girl."
Just got slagged as her for the first time. "Eww, smells like piss and nachos." "Uggh, it's in my mouth!"
It's only a matter of time before someone like Zone makes some twisted pornographic flash about her. *shiver* good god...
I love when Deathtrap gets a kill and Gaige says in a deep voice, "M-M-M-Monster kill kill killll" :v:
I wonder why she gets UT references. I can't really see a connection between them.
I wonder why she gets UT references. I can't really see a connection between them.
she's a nerd
It's only a matter of time before someone like Zone makes some twisted pornographic flash about her. *shiver* good god...
Well Tannis did leave a standing offer with Gaige to join her in bed... insane pedophile.
Just a thought but since [sp]Roland signed up for the New-U program back in the first game, shouldn't he be able to just respawn back to life? [/sp]
[sp]Being easier to kill than most bandits at that point of the game cannot be justified, especially when he has all the Hyperion tech behind him. The least he could have done was be non-existent while he had his holograms doing his dirty work, which also should have taken more than one shot to kill.[/sp]
It can easily be justified. What level were you? When I did the boss I had serious trouble.
Well Tannis did leave a standing offer with Gaige to join her in bed... insane pedophile.
What IS Gaige's age anyway? And for that matter, how old is Moxxi?
Gaige is 18
I feel so bad, I was farming hunter hellquist with this random guy and then he dropped an alkaline the bee. I just swiped it and left. Then again, I joined another guys game and ninja'd a hide of terramorphous right from this guy. Also someone just decided to trade me a legendary hunter class mod for no reason. Today was a good day.

Also, that ninja looting stuff was also kinda of a dick move.
Is there ANY way to skip the first like, half hour of the game? I hate going through Liar's Burg and fighting Flynt over and over and over again when I want to try a new character out.
I actually LOVE the beginning of the game, The simple-ness is what makes it so nice. Not having to worry about anything and just doing what you want before you have to hunker down.
Gaige is 18
as small as she is, the fact that she has a goddamn lunchbox as her class mod, and her incredibly adorable voice, i'm going with less than or equal to 16.
i think the intro is too long bl1 had a good length intro
Either DT is going to scale absolutely terribly with your level or it's going to get nerfed to the ground because it's beyond the term 'powerhouse' right now. I went to Midgemong, popped DT and it single-handedly killed him.
So from playing Gaige all night and going up her Anarchy tree, here's my opinion. Shes fucking fantastic. Deathtrap can pull off so much amazing shit and practically take all the aggro from you to him, anarchy stacks are hardish to contain but once you learn not to reload (or unbind your reload key like I did) it turns to be a real walk in the park. She makes the campaign feel fun all over again to me as well.
Level 34, only because I was farming the infinite rakks before the fight just for the single pixel left on my EXP bar. Then again, I got perfect crits with the Bison Sniper which were way too easy to land :v:
Yeah, y'see, when I did the boss I was Level 29.

IIRC, someone referred to her as the beginner class or something.
But wasn't Gaige making the game easier part of the reason for her creation? IIRC, someone referred to her as the beginner class or something.
Indeed, she is a Skill Gate Character.
Gaige is the "girlfriend mode" character. Still fun for veteran players. But still a little underwhelming.
