The dialog between the nomads and the Goliaths are pretty hilarious.
Knocked a Goliath's helmet off, and he started punching at a badass nomad's shield. The nomad then said "I WONDER WHO TOOK THEIR HELMET OFF; YOU DID!!" And proceeded to shield bash him with his knife shield.

I don't have anything against gaige but her personality makes her "THAT" kind of character, The kind that has a fanbase of "THOSE" kind of people. Can't really explain it but that was how it looked to me.

Pretty much all of the bandits dialogue is much better in this one.
Every time I fight them, I hear something completely new.
My favorite is when Psychos say they need a new head for their merry-go-round.

How does the "money lost during death" system work?
I lose too much when I die; I have about 15k, 4 purple items and I lose about 1-2k per death! And most of my deaths are from stupid things like standing in the wrong place at the wrong time and etc...
Any tips to minimize this?
edit: Forgot to mention i'm only level 17...
It seems Deathtrap isn't quite ghostly enough to not be hit by a train.

I'm not sure on this but I think the respawn cost is simply a fixed percentage of how much money you have. Also, I think they charge you a little bit to replenish your ammo.

Just wait until you lose like 100-400k each death. But that won't happen until playthrough 2.
Money loss is always 7% of your total cash. If you go broke it won't charge you anything.
7% was BL1 but to confirm it I had to do science. RIP Salvadore

Each rocket travells very slow and cant crit, however each rocket also drops a grenade when on impact, which is kinda awesome.

Ugh I hated assault rifles in bl1. The huge clip fully auto machine guns were so much better.

Borderlands 2 made me miss and love my Pestilent Defiler even more. That was hands down my favorite gun ever. Destroyer was beautiful for Soldier though. Like a sniper rifle that scaled with your Assault Rifle proficiency.
The serpens and the crux were my 2 fav legendaries (Serpens was a pearl, but it just raped everything in it's path goddamn corrosive explosions everywhere raping all the enemies) and it ate through general knoxx and all the other crimson lance characters and those pesky armored craw worms.
Got to level 25 with Mechromancer using only Ordered Chaos.
This is the SINGLE strongest, most incredibly diverse, interesting, and funnest way I've found to play Borderlands yet. I always have to be on my toes, but it rewards me intensely for doing so. The Anarchy/Discord combo is one of the best things in the game and if used properly is just amazing.
This gives her an incredible bonus when using a hyperion weapon, just reload with Discord and suddenly you're 65% more accurate and fire 25% faster. A shotgun can become a medium range tool easily. And while Anarchy stacks after about 70+ start to get really hard to handle, it's still a rewarding playstyle, and once I got Discord going on, the back and forth that relies on smart reloading just become an absolute blast.
And the beautiful thing is they made so many strong skills in ordered Chaos that you NEED to take anarchy to get, it makes it a real trade off so you have to be aware of it. Though, I think I'd put one point in anarchy no matter how I play her. Such a great skill.
I really gotta say, this is just so great and shows that we can expect a lot of improvement if they continue in this direction.
Her skill variety and skill depth is much deeper than anyone else.
Planning on buying this and then playing on the weekend with friends (Friday Night Motherfuckers, etc.) as Gaige.
It pains me to know I'll be playing a 12 year old girl with a thing for robots while my mates are playing precise, burly and badass dudes... This'll be fun.

For those of you using Gibbed's tool (or are just fucking about with the files in general), DLC objects are labelled after flowers. Mechro is "tulip", and things from the pirate DLC (such as the [sp]Jakobs pistol you get from Scarlett or the bandit shotgun from the Seraph[/sp]) are "Orchid".
