I prefer vladof. I have a legendary assault rifle spinny gun (that I did not craft, surprisingly) with a fucking gigantic magazine and it's fully auto and god it melts fucking everything.

Depending on which character I'm playing I'll have a different main weapon manufacturer just to keep things more varied.
Axton: Jakobs
Zer0: Any sniper rifle
Salvador: Vladof
Maya: Maliwan
Gaige: Torgue
interesting, I see that gaige works best with vladof because she has fire rate bonuses.

Everyone does this; manufacturer differences suit different playstyles. Most Maya players will obviously use Maliwan, due to skills relating to elemental effects. Jakobs for Zer0 due to their high crit damage bonus, high accuracy and high base damage. Hyperion/Vladof for Salvador because you literally hold m1+m2 down constantly while zerking, also Bandit weapons. I haven't really played Axton, but I'm guessing Dahl works well with him.
As for Gaige, Tediore is great due to their fast reloads and the fact that you never reload out of combat. In addition Torgue is great due to the tracking feature of gyrojets, high accuracy, damage, small clips and low recoil, which are all fantastic with anarchy.

She has one which only works for half of the clip.
I think I love Maliwan weapons. You don't need power when you can set enemies on fire and watch them scream while they burn. And corrosive can completely bypass armor, how awesome is that?

Vladof, Jakobs go against the purpose of Assault Rifles.
Don't know if this had been touched before, but anyone maybe came to a theory that the[sp]Lilith Shrine in T-Bone Junction[/sp](BL1, General Knoxx DLC) might be somehow linked to the series of missions [sp]'Cult Following'?[/sp] Of course it doesn't portray her as any kind of[sp]god[/sp] but surely it does show she had some [sp]fans (or at least one fan) even before the new Vault Hunters arrived, maybe this was the beginning and then more people chose to be her fans and it eventually became a cult?[/sp]

I think that everyone has at least one Maliwan/elemental weapon on their character; they are far too useful to pass up.

Hot women with super powers? Yea, I think people would start a cult. Maya had an entire planet as followers.
I find that all the rifles I use as Zer0 are maliwan, since there are very few situations where Corrosive isn't useful.

They are also awful due to their massive recoil and low accuracy recovery. Vladof makes the best rifles.

I don't think I've ever seen Torgue rounds track targets.
Jakobs rifles hold a special place in my heart. The best ones are the ones with foregrips as they help reduce recoil and sway. At least in my experience.

Well considering that corrosive has a damage penalty for both flesh and shields, and a pretty harsh one on playthrough, I'd say the opposite would be true.

I got through Thousand Cuts as Zero using nothing but a Jakobs revolver. He's great with sniper rifles but if you spec for melee then pistols work just as well.
9-rounds burst Dahl miniguns are the best.
They literally shreds any kind of enemy.

I've been using a Jakobs rifle with a slag smg on my Salvador character and have been fucking shit up. Only downside is that my index finger would twitch rapidly afterwards.
So can someone please post a link to BL2 savegame editor?...
Finally got a Maggie out of the slot machine. I love it.
But it's kind of disappointing. I really wish there were more Masher revolvers in the game. They were my absolute favorite guns in BL1. Also it'd be nice if any other manufacturer made regular bullet revolvers, other than Jakobs. Everything else is elemental.
Awesome, Saturn dropped a legendary sniper rifle the first time I killed him since hitting level 50.
southern shelf enemies are level 49-51, will my quest rewards be level 50 now?

One thing that bugs me about Gaige is how long getting all your stacks of anarchy takes. I know it's supposed to make death more punishing, but I think it feels really out of place when almost everything else balanced around individual encounters.

on one hand, i like how they eliminated the revolver category and merged it with pistols
on the other hand, i don't like how the only revolvers are jakobs
sure maliwan and torgue have aegis and explosive revolvers but those just [I]aren't the same[/I]
