I agree, that's one thing that got on my nerves a little, that all we found out about the characters we play as was through those 4 EHCOs for each one, and other miscellaneous dialouge.
But it would be nice if there was an option to have "responses" and all that like they have in Team Fortress 2.

I'm sorry but I still keep hating tannis ever since borderlands 1 because [I]every quest she gives is about picking up her echoes[/I] and those echoes are like minutes long. After I skip a sentence because I'm distracted by enemies, cool loot or loud combat music, everything she says afterwards is just blabber
So I decided to use a golden key because my mechro is seriously undergeared at lvl 46. I found a bunch of white weapons better than all of mine in the vending machine, that's how bad it's been. I had 4 keys, now I have none. 3 shitty rocket launchers and 2 grenade mods. I've never even used a rocket launcher on this playthrough. I'm just going to mod some weapons, fuck you golden chest.

Ok, I'm getting confused in regards to golden keys.
You get one per character you start, right. If I use my mechromancers key, i'll still have one to use for my assassin, and so forth?
Because if it's a case of one key and thats it, and then I use it and get some buttfucking smg, I will NOT be happy.

keys belong to your profile, not character, so you only get 1 key, and thats it.

you can use gearbox shift to get an extra key (sign up) and they sometimes post key codes on twitter
The part in the game i found to be most emotional was when you found the tapes with info on [sp]Tiny Tinas parents and how they were experimented with eridium on by Jack. After I heard that I realized through the game, almost every character has a reason to hate Jack.[/sp]

How do you not love Tiny Tina
I just found a rocket launcher that fires a rocket so slowly I can actually outrun the fucking thing.
But my God, when it hits, it hits hard.
Oh, and a rifle that fires bullets upwards rather than straight. It acts like a fire bullet morter and it's fucking useless at close range, long range, anywhere with a ceiling and against any enemy that moves.

Its one of the grate-things on the tower. It should be on the side with the chest and vault symbol. Look through and you should see a staircase facing you and the power box.

Unique enemy, drops a legendary rocket launcher called the "nukem", huge damage and radius, different explosive effect but curves down after being shot.
