"Mr Skaggles! He's staring into my face..." [editline]15th October 2012[/editline] Also Maya said this earlier: "It's like winter solstice!"
I've heard bandits say this when a player has tossed a grenade into their vicinity: "Who cares about the grenade?" in a sarcastic tone or something.
Shade seems a little tiny wee bit crazy.
i think we'll know for sure when he starts complaining about those goddamn bats
It's supposed to be a nostalgic picture
I'm going to go ahead and assume you're wrong because that part of the game still depresses me.
Flipping through the art book I only just realised that [sp]Jack is wearing a mask[/sp]. Im so slow
Flipping through the art book I only just realised that Jack is wearing a mask. Im so slow
what, did you think he wore staples and a bleached face as a fashion statement? also that's not a spoiler, stop adding spoiler tags to mundane shit people.
Borderlands 2 definitely had a serious case of "overhyped bosses, stupidly easy fights, gigantic letdowns." [sp]Bunker was easy as shit. Sit in the middle, snipe the eyes, not the autocannons. Wilhelm, while apparently the best Jack had and tore the old heros a new one as well as Haven a new one, was easy as fuck. I don't really count that one as it was a trap. The Warrior was easy as fuck. Sit in the middle, shoot chest, occasionally murder crystalisks. How about Bloodwing? Probably the hardest fight in the game, just because Bloodwing just moves so fast. Captain Flynt was really tough, but only the first time you ever fight him, in both playthroughs. No other named bosses were really all that hard at all.[/sp]
The hardest boss to me was [sp]Dukino's Mum[/sp]
The hardest boss to me was [sp]Dukino's Mum[/sp]
Pfft. Just keep your distance, sprint away when needed. Get a sniper rifle or Hyperion shotgun and she is easy as any other.

I can never find the gun I want from certain enemies or bosses. And sometimes it's a pain to walk back, like Rakkman and all of the major bosses. Am I doing something wrong, or should I just hope that I get lucky with drops?

Well I use the pre order artifact, so I have a slightly better chance. Unless it doesn't effect orange items.
vault hunters relic ups the chance by 0.25% or something :v:
vault hunters relic ups the chance by 0.25% or something :v:
5% actually. I didn't even notice a difference when using it tho.
I had to download the player count mod which is available online I entered the game, scanned for memory changes, it found the player count. I then set it to two players, zoned into a new area, killed some mooks, then set it to one player, zoned into another area, then killed more mooks Happy to say now that this has fixed the glitch after a save, shutting down the mod tool and restarting the game, things are dying at an acceptable rate now and aren't taking 4-6 mags per enemy anymore, before it was around 2-4 mags for a common mook, 7-8 mags for the lowest ranked goliath or 20-30 mags for a Nomad, and this was with a 150 rounds vladof 3000dmg minigun That and a single round from a common enemy isn't taking out all my shields and half my health with one shot anymore, or riding around in a car its not dead in 6 stray bullet shots. EDIT1: Additional Info Everyone keeps asking what is going on with this glitch, so I'll explain Suddenly, and for no reason, the difficulty in Playthrough 2 spikes astronomically hard, and I mean astronomically hard. Everything starts two shotting you, it takes dozens of clips to down things etc etc. This is my second toon I've done through playthrough 2, and I couldn't figure out why I was having a ridiculously harder time with Salvador then I was with Axton So I went back to my Axton toon, and it was just as hard as I remembered, and not as hard as I was experiencing with Salvador, the odd thing was, they were doing near indentical damage, yet it was taking 5-15x longer to kill anything with salvador Asking around 4chan if anybody had the same issue, somebody eventually talked up after 4+ threads about how there was a glitch in the difficulty system, that how the difficulty slider for when more people join your game was actually causing difficulty to keep adding on levels when people leaved and joined, and not removing them when they left, so if you were solo, difficulty was level 1, three people would join, it would goto difficulty four, they would leave, it would STILL stick at level 4, and more people would join, and it would STILL keep increasing, adding on over and over again. Case in point. King Mong I was farming him before applying the fix I showed above, using a machinegun car at level 50 it would take around 2-3 minutes to kill him with concentrated gunfire, and he would instantly one shot kill the car if it got hit. After the fix, I can kill him in under 30 seconds, and the car can take 4-6 hits depending on the move he does, its not instantly vaporized by a single one of any of his attacks. This glitch is what happened too my salvador, and from what I have heard lots of other people playing their salvadors are having the issue pop up, as it rarely happens to other classes as I am told. Anyways, that is the entire glitch in a nutshell.
Well done, GBX. I always had feeling about something not right with PT2. Now it's understandable.
Well I use the pre order artifact, so I have a slightly better chance. Unless it doesn't effect orange items.
it doesent, it only decreses white and increased blues and greens, its worthless
Rambling about glitch
It just makes the game more challenging aka better.
It just makes the game more challenging aka better.
Oh, I'm sorry for not being a competitive pro-player and not enjoying ass-breaking gameplay like Dark Souls. Completed BL1 dozen of times and had more fun getting there to PT2/PT2.5 than in BL2, because lvl scaling was not bugged out.
So I figured out a way to have infinite golden keys on the PS3 (maybe xbox) version. (offline) When in sanctuary, pause have a second player (or just you with another controller) enter the game under the same profile as you. Player 2 can select any of your characters (except the one you are using, so preferably a high level one.) and they should have 1 golden key regardless of how many you have. Once done, have player 2 leave game. Repeat until your patience runs out, or you have enough money or guns to run Marcus out of business. This may only work with premier club.
It just makes the game more challenging aka better.
There's a difference between challenging and infuriatingly hard. Only one of those is enjoyable.
It just makes the game more challenging aka better.
Challenging may be fun, but you shouldn't need to try the same boss 10-15 times. Also, changing your weapon types, or using more than just one to help shouldn't be necessary. The only way I could get Captain Flynt in Playthrough 2 was with a Shock SMG, Slag SMG, and a Jakobs revolver.
So the new dlc is coming out when in europe?
Oh great, now i constantly get fatal error after starting the game. Searched about this problem on gearbox forum, people say that you are going to lose all your stats (all my 11 golden keys, almost 10000 badass rank, 50 lvl Maya, plus i almost finished all challenges with this character). I hope that's not true, i dont want to lose everything, so im kinda desperate now.

so if that glitch was noticed is there gonna be a quick difficulty fix patch soon? it kind of always felt like pt2 was a bit too ridiculous
The hardest boss to me was [sp]Dukino's Mum[/sp]
But the reward is so worth it with the extremely high critical multiplier.
Me and my brother worked through p2 fine, it was a little hard but nothing we couldn't cope with
