A few questions if i may 1. Do NPC's roam around the land more dynamically? i don't expect Stalker kind of behaviour. But atleast more dynamic and just travel around? rather than sticking to one area. 2. How large are the areas/zones?
1 - Nope. You'll see some movement in the main towns but that's about it. It's limited and they stay in that one map. So yes it's an improvement from the first game because everyone was stationary, but it's not a huge improvement. 2 - There are some huge areas. Tundra Express is quite large and you don't get vehicles there. Most large areas do have vehicles though, thank goodness.
The Torgue DLC was hinted at soon after the game went gold; it was when we were first told that Gearbox wasn't producing all of the DLC. [editline]18th October 2012[/editline]
Motorhead? That's Sledge's name after the midget rebuilt him in Knoxx
Could be a reference to the band, after all "Long way to the top" is a reference to AC/DC (probably).
sick of everyone shitting themselves over the cc needs to be patched already
CC is actually a pretty bad shotgun on it's own. It's the Bee shield that needs to be fixed, because I'm pretty sure it's supposed to drain some of the shield every time when you shoot, like every other amp damage shield. Even then, it sucks for everything that isn't against a single enemy or melee only enemies. All it takes is one point of damage for the amp damage to be negated.
The whole point of the bee is to not drain shield, they should just not make it THAT big an amp damage boost.
Didn't Randy say awhile back in a tweet that it was it's downside that was broken? Also if you think about it, it's probably called the bee shield for a reason. Since bee's die after they sting something, I wouldn't be surprised if it was supposed to completely drain your shields after one shot. :v:
I'm blind as a bat, where's the treasure in The Rustyards?
The whole point of the bee is to not drain shield, they should just not make it THAT big an amp damage boost.
They should make it the opposite of what it is: Insanely high shields, recharge, and low delay, but firing drains all shields.
I have a new-found love for Tediore rocket launchers. They're pretty meh, but awesome for when you go into fight-for-your-life mode. If you use standard guns, the enemy often have a chance to get out of your field of view, or are too far away to hit with any accuracy. If you use a non-Tediore rocket launcher, if a rocket misses you're basically fucked due to the huge reload time. But with Tediore, you basically just spam rockets, then reload to shoot another rocket out, then nearly instantly digistruct a new launcher and continue to shit out rockets. It's basically impossible to not get a second-wind when you're using a Tediore launcher (aside from boss fights).
I'm blind as a bat, where's the treasure in The Rustyards?
From the quest area marker ook out over the non-playable area (facing away from the rest of the map), turn around and there's a small alcove next to one of those long grey dumpster things under the walkway thing.
I'm blind as a bat, where's the treasure in The Rustyards?
in the top of the circle under the staircase took me a while too its ACTUALLY HIDDEN
Actually those were some pretty bad directions on my part. Just have this instead.
sick of everyone shitting themselves over the cc needs to be patched already
If they give the bee amp drain or reduce it's amp damage, there's no point on using it anymore, have you actually seen anyone using a normal amp shield ? there's a reason for that. The shotgun is fine, the shield is also fine since it's balanced for normal play, i don't see why you should expect an extremely hard to obtain combination to suck at everything instead of excelling on the field it's made for, people seem to think the bee + CC is a solution for everything in the game when it isn't. It doesn't need any change.
Looks like I'm lucky on E-tech. No weapon+shield combination should be able to take down an end game boss in seconds. If that's not OP, what is?
No weapon+shield combination should be able to take down an end game boss in seconds. If that's not OP, what is?
And who cares, seriously. It's a shitty boss with mostly shitty drops, if you spend 3 hours killing it with the CC it's unlikely you'll get anything decent, it's also not even close to being as hard as they promised, even without the CC + bee. I killed it with a lvl 50 guy with normal weapons while being lvl 36, none of us were using anything special. I'm glad this kind of thing exists actually, it was the same for crawmerax, an overhyped piece of shit who wasn't worth the effort if you killed it without the special combinations.
Do you need to play borderlands 1 to get whats going on in borderlands 2?
Do you need to play borderlands 1 to get whats going on in borderlands 2?
4 vault hunters from the first game (Roland Lilith Brick Mordecai) heard of a vault full of loot, they were guided by a woman through ECHO communication, once they reach the entrance of the vault it opened the gateway to a guardian, but seemingly didn't contain anything else. The vault hunters from Borderlands 2 are following the same goal, though as indicated by the introduction Jack calls vault hunters then kill them off, you happen to survive, the rest unfolds as you go on. Borderlands 2 happens about 5 years after the end of the first.

it'd be cool if there were actually manufacturer vending machines placed around, that way you can easily get a maliwan or a torgue to complete a collection or just like a certain kind and dont feel like waiting for one in the shop or looting one
please let torgue be the main villain of BL3 please
please let torgue be the main villain of BL3 please
Dear god the explosions.
please let torgue be the main villain of BL3 please
I'd prefer tediore weapons; Robots that throw themselves when they run out of ammo.
maliwan enemy jesus christ all those elements and gundam robots

was handsome jack hinted at or mentioned at all in BL1 I doubt he/Angel's role was planned back then but it would be neat if he was
