i'm quite certain it was considering she was lying about the vault since the beginning
maliwan enemy jesus christ all those elements and gundam robots
Doesn't have to be robots They can be elemental auras Explain's Maliwan's "sophisticated" style [editline]17th October 2012[/editline]
was handsome jack hinted at or mentioned at all in BL1 I doubt he/Angel's role was planned back then but it would be neat if he was
Not in the least. They just modified how it's explained in Blands 2 to make it have a completely different meaning in Blands 1. Kinda like how Portal 2 did to Portal.
i'm quite certain it was considering she was lying about the vault since the beginning
Back then there was a theory that Pandora was a never ending cycle. When the vault opened, time would repeat itself and 4 vault hunters would find it, open it, and the cycle continued. Obviously it was debunked but it was interesting.

I kinda liked the theory, in a sense that the "mothrakk" you see after you defeat the Rakk Hive would grow up in 200 years to be the next Mothrakk.[/sp]

Handsome Jack got what he wanted(the vault opening, and Eridium appearing), so he got Angel to upload a virus or reprogram or something to make Claptrap decide to kill everyone. And then after that plan horribly backfired, into a Robolution, he sent in Mister Blake to get the Vault Hunters to clean up the mess..[/sp]
[sp]And then after that plan horribly backfired, into a Robolution, he sent in Mister Blake to get the Vault Hunters to clean up the mess..[/sp]
[sp]I feel like the revolution wouldn't change Hyperion's mind. If anything, it helps them, because the Claptraps now want to kill the humans out of their own accord, instead of having Hyperion tell them what to do.[/sp]
I enjoyed the pirate DLC I dunno what everyone is sad about. It had some great enemies and fantastic looking areas. I think maybe everyone is getting too caught up in the end goal and not enjoying the journey. Perhaps the only let down I felt was that [sp]you didn't get to fight Scarlett face to face but it was still a great surprise to have to fight a rakk hive.[/sp] But that's not a huge deal and I still really enjoyed it.
[del]Anybody have the link for gibbed save editor? Been trying to find it but it's slow going because I am lowly no-searching blue-scum.[/del] I knew I'd find it as soon as I asked, I'm packing this baby up and flying it off stork style to my friends.
[editline]17th October 2012[/editline] new dlc title
Hopefully one of the achievements being "Complete all side missions" Means it isn't underdome 2.0
Where the FUCK do I put the compass?
Where the FUCK do I put the compass?
Exactly where the objective markers tell you to, Use the elevator to get to the top of the lighthouse and you should see the glow-y green outline of the compass somewhere. Just look around.
Exactly where the objective markers tell you to, Use the elevator to get to the top of the lighthouse and you should see the glow-y green outline of the compass somewhere.
Must be glitched - I see nothing [img_thumb]http://puu.sh/1g0Yv[/img_thumb] It's supposed to be right there isn't it?
You glitched out the mission. This can happen if you try to cheat and set your last travel location to the top and don't walk up, in which case, the mission objectives don't properly activate (not saying you did this).
You glitched out the mission. This happens if you try to cheat and set your last travel location to the top and don't walk up, in which case, the mission objectives don't properly activate.
But I did walk up. I took every elevator I was supposed to and I opened the gate before to get in, it shouldn't have glitched. I got the message to put the compass somewhere and everything.

Is Sledge's shotgun suppose to drop on first kill, or did I just get really lucky?
Anyone up for Hyperius the Invincible on PC? I can't for the life of me kill him. That AoE he does, hurts.
that sounds really stupid
It actually made some sense. [sp]After killing the Rakk Hive you realize it's not dead (still breathing). Afterwards you go to get the key piece and a baby mothrakk flies out [I assume this is son of mothrakk in bl2]. Marcus also mentions "I'm sure we'll be doing this again very soon..." in a very cryptic tone when you first get off the bus. Also Angel knowing that you would open the vault and knowing you would kill the destroyer inside of it. She knew every step you'd take as if she'd witnessed it before[/sp]
I just still have problems with the story. A player dies? Respawn at the last visited Hyperion Respawn Machine. The President of the Hyperion company dies? Nope, no respawn. I'm sure he didnt need to. Now it would make sense if the game considered the spawn points non-cannon and just wanted you to ignore the fact that they exist for story purposes. But then Jack himself acknowledges that they exist with the "Kill yourself" mission. I could assume the mission itself is also non-canon. Just kind of bothered me, like im sure it did too a lot of people. One theory was that the remaining forces of Atlas scrapped together to put the 5 new vault hunters into the new-u station secretly, in order to kill off Hyperion. But that seems a little weak. Just ignore it until they put something definitive in about them.

If Roland [sp]was downed, why couldn't an ally help revive him[/sp]!? I'll tell you why: [sp]BECAUSE THAT'S NOT COMPELLING.[/sp] Edit: Tagged, per the request of [REDACTED].
Best I can come up with is that the respawn stations function mostly as a gameplay mechanic and actually operate differently in-universe Because honestly, I don't recall anyone besides the player character ever using a new-u station

why does hyperius always initate with a double nuke? seriously I die 2 secs after I enter the room every time I cant even reach the pipe thing
Found myself a nice adaptive shield 35k shield, 13k more health and 50% resistance to the last element hit. Time to try him again. What platform are you playing on Clio? Could always team up.
But then [sp]Roland should have respawned[/sp]
Isn't [sp] angel dead at this point? Lets just say that Angel deactivated Handsome Jacks respawn, for when Handsome Jack dies. Roland died for good because he had long been out of the respawn system, and angel never thought to re-add him becuase she didn't think he'd die [/sp]
