There should be a gun that shoots guns.
There should be a gun that shoots guns.
Ever tried the Baby Maker? (It's a Tediore gun that, when thrown, explodes into a smaller gun, then explodes. Not exactly what you asked, but close enough)
There should be a gun that shoots guns.
Closest thing is probably the Baby Maker. Tediore gun so it explodes when reloaded and thrown, but shrinks and blows up a second time. [editline]23rd October 2012[/editline] wow ok
Anyone got tips for farming the "Eviscerated" challenge? At the moment I'm playing through Wildlife Exploitation Preserve over and over to do it.
Anyone got tips for farming the "Eviscerated" challenge? At the moment I'm playing through Wildlife Exploitation Preserve over and over to do it.
Go to an area which is way below your level. The kind of area where you'll one shot enemies with pistols.
I wish we could upgrade Axton's turret so it could have health/ammo regen and have a chance to revive players like in the first game.
Ammo regen that isn't on the most mediocre Salvadore mod would be nice in general.
Hey guys, Been playing this game for just about a month (fucking awesome to say the least) but to the veterans in this thread, I need to ask y'all something. I'm busy right now attempting to farm the conference call shotgun off of the end-boss and he's refusing to drop it. I'm using the Bee shield and the vault hunter relic. Is there anything I can do to increase my chances? Or do I just need to keep trying?
I thought they it pretty clear Axton wasn't a support class? If there was to be on true medic, it would be the siren, and one guy who gave ammo it would be the gunzerker. They wanted to keep Axton purely helpful to himself because he's one of the easier characters to solo with.
Is there anything I can do to increase my chances? Or do I just need to keep trying?
Increasing playercount increases loot chance/quality.
Ammo regen that isn't on the most mediocre Salvadore mod would be nice in general.
Salv's ammo regen mod is a joke if you compare it to same level Roland's Support Gunner.

And pretty much every other class can do it better, except Maya and maybe Zero. Correct if I'm wrong about this, I didn't see any support skills on him.
He doesn't really help the team though, other than by killing stuff. And pretty much every other class can do it better, except Maya and maybe Zero.
The Nuke ability on the turret lets him instantly clear out rooms. I run with rockets pods and the Nuke on my turret; it obliterates Super-Badass Loaders so quickly, because the Loaders will wail on the nigh-indestructible turret as it pumps rockets into them, while I just hose them down with my corrosive SMG.
Salv's ammo regen mod is a joke if you compare it to same level Roland's Support Gunner.
Having played all characters except Zero to atleast level 30, I find that Salvadore has all around the worst class mods.
What are your opinions on classes anyway? Maya and Axton are great, Zero's pretty fun, Salvador's kinda average (except his (shitty) ammo regen that's my only weakness) and Gaige is in a totally different ballpark.
Slag turret, Phalanx Shield. Team Fire Rate mod, Team Shield Recharge Rate+Delay.
Saying the Phalanx Shield is useful (assuming we're looking at higher levels) is like saying my cock dangles out my trouser leg.
Saying the Phalanx Shield is useful (assuming we're looking at higher levels) is like saying my cock dangles out my trouser leg.
It's weak, but enough to revive someone under heavy fire. There is lots of skill needs to be rebalanced for higher levels (30+).
It is useful if you take Gemini Turrets and place the turrets close to each other. The shields then overlap, giving you a nice safe zone to sit in while shooting.
What are your opinions on classes anyway? I'm fairly certain NOBODY can tank as well as he can, and Gunzerking lets you deal insane amounts of damage extremely quickly.

Maya and Axton are great, Zero's pretty fun, Salvador'skinda average (except his (shitty) ammo regen that's my only weakness) and Gaige is in a totally different ballpark.
Maya, Axton, and Gaige are all solid no matter what build you go with really.Maya and Axton have fairly mediocre options in some of their trees (the entire Motion tree, half of Survivability) but you have more than enough options to fill out superior builds. Gaige is an entirely different beast with 3 unique skilltrees that all seem amazing from what little I've seen of her. BFF is probably the "weakest" but even then it's like a Survivability tree that doesn't turn to shit halfway down. Some Salvadore and Zero builds work but they are definitely on the lower tier. Salvadore has gimmick gunlust builds, glass cannon rampage builds, but very solid survival builds. Gunlust is merely okay in that it works but isn't particularly exciting. Rampage again works decently but really some of those skills should have just been baked into the basic Gunzerking active itself. Survivability is actually really fun almost entirely because of the bottom ability. Mainspeccing that and subbing into Rampage lets you turn practically invincible for 20 seconds every 40 seconds. Zero is again okay. Very fun to play, but merely okay when it comes to skills. Sniping is powerful, but the bottom is loaded with mediocre skills and probably the worst capstone in the game. Cunning is a weird midrange/survival tree that has a great capstone but works best as a sub tree to either of the main ones. Bloodshed is fun as fuck and powerful while leveling but pointless in level 50 content. You can progress with it but it is objectively less effecient than a sniping/cunning zero. Overall class balance is pretty good and much better than BL1. Making Motion work more reliably, spreading around the abilities in Axtons Survivability tree, giving Zero something to make melee more viable, a better sniper capstone, and having a few of the Rampage perks for Gunzerker just be part of the basic action skill itself would make it almost perfect in my opinion.

Zero is fun and quite strong, can do alot of damage from melee skills or crits, i didnt like the green skill tree, you sure do alot of crit damage but thats all, found it abit boring, also the other 2 trees can do alot of damage too and dont require a good accuracy, the kunais do alot of damage on a single target. the final skill of the red tree is alot of fun you simple dissapear and then enemies start dying around. Axton was my first class, made a build focused on the green tree, your shield is always up, the turret do alot of damage and slag people, basicly free double damage to everyone. havent tried the other 2 trees, but i cant see them better than the green one.
