So not doing any side quest bit me in the ass [sp] i'm doing the mission where angels fear to tread or w/e and a badass constructor is totally kicking my ass :v: and whenever I quit I lose like a hour of progress. At least my XP still remains [/sp]

I'm fucking pissed as hell about the [sp] assault on the bunker[/sp] part on PT2.
I can't get up the fucking mountain let alone into the bunker complex itself. And of course there isn't a single fucking ammo machine in the entire level except at the entrance to the zone.
I actually did manage to get up the mountain [B][I]ONCE[/I][/B] and then Borderlands decided to behave like a piece of shit and the mission glitched, so the fucking door wouldn't open. So I tried it again and I can't even get to the second level of the compound now without dying a dozen fucking times.
I swear, even critical hitting a fucking lvl 48 ion bot for 128k damage took like 6 shots to kill.
Well, looks like I'm going to have to play with randoms and get all my shit stolen.
tldr; I lost about 300k due to the suddenly steep as fuck difficulty curve and the game fucking up. I'm level 49 now btw and even enemies 1-2 levels below me ripping through my shields and health as if they were nothing. (I have about 33k of each)
I'm doing all the side quests I can find and it makes the main quest a lot easier but still kind of challenging, which is great.

Is it bad that i am having more challenge at level 50 from the Hyperion slaughter then from terramorphous? he just seems easy, and i haven't gotten any good loot except for this 18k Jakobs semi auto explosive rifle (no pic)

Once reloaded it bounces around like a rubberized grenade, except much faster and explodes every time it bounces

Yeah, enemies around level 40 or so seem to be able to destroy me just as easily 40-50 enemies.
What really kicks your ass though is that constructor, if it decides to go all out on your ass prepare for endless missiles and lasers, and occasionally a nuke or two. I only killed it by having a heavily boosted melee attack and just jumping in front of its eye and bashing it to death for a second wind.

I've been playing solo and the last two Hyperion slaughter matches were a complete ballache to do. I haven't tried morphy though, and I suppose trying in single player would be a waste of eridium.

I do not understand what is the point of that rectangular shaped thing in front of the grip and trigger, like what is it for? I can understand the ridiculous stock but not that. Is it like a second grip or something?
What would you say the best build for a level 33 siren would be? I'm playing just me and a friend (zer0) and i can't seem to find the right balance between elemental damage output and survivability.

I chuckled after I realized where I was teleported to. [sp]You just appear in a room with tons of gear and chests, and take it all. You open a door and Marcus is there demanding to know how you got in. Turns out it was his stockroom and you robbed him. A+ job Lilith.[/sp]
Where do you get the golden key? I was told to not open the skull chest yet which I won't but I'd like to know where to find the key for it.
Also, roaming NPCs are clientside apparently, saw an abomination of a NPC and told my friend to come see and told me she was fine so we both took screenshots.
