Yes you can. I got two class mods for Mechromancer that I don't want and two grenade mods that are worse than what I have. Though I do guess 72k is hard to beat.

golden key gives you REALLY good purples.

Basically the best normal guns, as all legendary weapons have some kind of quirk

You wont get better guns than legendarys at or below that level

I use my gold keys for characters when I'm struggling with enemies. Typically around lvl 45, when the difficulty ramps up.

Yeah, I used a lot of keys at 42-46, then again at 50. The keys used at 50 were pretty worthless finds though, so it was definitely more helpful at lower levels. Once the cap goes up, I just know I'll need stuff quick to replace my 50 gear, so I'll be using them between 50 and before I get to the new cap.

I used all mine before then, then they stopped handing them out when I hit that level and needed them most.

there are two versions of that easter egg

you can find geary any time if you access eiridium blight, but to do the full on thing you need to be in PT2, pick up a special echo device in claptrap's place and walk all the way up to geary on the volcano from there without dying, fast traveling etc
