Those look awesome, where'd you get them?
[sp]They're from the DLC right? Please tell me you don't have to farm those crystals for them[/sp]
First one from Warrior, second from Blade's treasure chest (black pirate chest with skull).
So yeah, dropable and findable.
fuck it i'll buy the mechro dlc
after looking at her skills she seems like a fun risk/reward character for shotguns
Oh, cool. I had exactly 800 points in my Xbox balance anyway. Well then.
[editline]31st October 2012[/editline]
Why don't reload automatically?
Fuck I do that all the goddamn time. 199/200 bullets? Reload.

lose anarchy
Since this trick bypasses KSS, I think it bypasses anarchy too:
Drop the gun with - and immediately pick it back up. Fully reloaded.
OC Gaige feels very overpowered to me, especially compared to my first character Maya
Goddamn this opening is awesome. Better than the first one.

You can make LITERALLY ANYTHING fit with the opening. Try it. Try it with your randomest shit and it'll still work.

Electric and corrosive beg to differ
What was the last one, again? I always forget.

Oh, right, I remember, explosive!
I don't know what you all are talking about, I've been finding great ARs left and right in my axton playthrough. Didn't find many in my Salvie playthrough though, which is weird. I've also been finding a shit ton of purples and blues.

Holy crap. Okay, Gaige was the best decision ever. And the ordered chaos tree really synergizes with itself well.
[editline]1st November 2012[/editline]
Heh. Bandit weapons have horrendously misspelled names. I love the detail.
I still hate how difficulty scales so fucking high in P.2. I like how every enemy can kill you fast, but should it not be the same for them besides the badasses? I feel as if my character is a walking stick compared to the meaty bastards. P.2's bosses were easier than handling more than one bandit, I swear.
on an unrelated side note; Zin, the dreaming master is here? Oh, how I loved your tales(or were they someone elses?)

I have a question about Gaige and shotguns. So I got Anarchy already (obviously) and I'm working on the other available skill, the one that ups reload speed and lowers capacity. I'm mostly using shotguns and pistols at the moment (I have a sniper rifle but I don't use it much), and I've noticed most of the shotguns are ones that fire two shots every fire. If my shotgun capacity is only 1, though, is that just wasted damage, or what? Are there optimal characteristics I should be aiming for?

I found it better to put a point in anarchy and then go down the Best Friends Forever tree for awhile until you get enough skill points to do a respec and play around with different builds.

oh god

I tried Anarchy, but the whole thing of not being able to reload whenever.
I guess if the tree was full it would be useful, considering I only put put 1 point into Ordered Chaos on the Anarchy skill.
Which reminds me, with the BL2 save editor, I wonder if it's possible to do this thing I did with the first game.
Hit the level cap, no points left available, use save editor to add a load of extra, unused points, use them to max out all 3 trees.
Roland's turret was super handy, due to laughably massive damage output and constant health, shield and ammo regeneration. That 20 minute fight between 2 Rolands and Skagzilla at the start of the game turned into a 5 second spam of explosive and corrosive bullets

Yes, yes you can.
Running Axton, maxing Guerilla and Survival, Shot down Saturn within 1 minute flat only with 2 turret and 5x 12 Pounder round + a crappy shield.

Man it's going to take ages to hit level 50 for me to do that.
Maybe should I forget about all the sidequests, and focus on the story, so I'll hit level 50 by mid Playthrough 2

well shit, maybe I should go with midgetman instead
what are the benefits of each class
except zer0 he looks kind of crap and invisibility is for wimps
I might go with whatever the Siren class is, the most fun I had in BL was going with Lilith and building for DoTs. Fire, poison, shock...everything at once was so great. Numbers everywhere.
OPINIONS AHOY!
I'd say Axton is good when you need to survive on the brink a lot and when you require distraction in the form of a turret. (I recommend putting points in Metal Storm, with five points your fire rate is 60% higher and 75% less recoil upon killing an enemy).
Zer0 specializes in dealing a LOT of damage in a short time frame, also called "burst damaging", whether it be by upping your backstabbing abilities (I fucking love Many Must Fall skill, basically every kill you make will now on deploy another decoy and extend the decepti0n duration, can be infinitely chained so long as your stabs kills your target) or popping heads (Critical Escalation skill increases your crit damage by 6% and sniper damage by 5% up to 999 times upons coring a critical hit. That means Critical HITS count towards the stack, not KILLS themselves, meaning you can keep pelting a crit spot on an enemy and your shots keep getting stronger as you keep firing.)
Maya can keep powerful targets at bay and buy herself some time to use her fantastic regenerating skills and upgrade Phaselock to gather enemies to the phaselocked enemy (converge, my favourite, is great for rocket launcher savvy builds). She also get almost the whole cadre of skills Lilith had iff you feel like going elemental on enemies.
My personal favorite, Salvador, is good for all of you who played games like Doom and Quake as a kid, able to cause SERIOUS damage with skills like my personal favourite, No Kill Like Overkill (adds any damage OVER the amount of health that the guy you killed had is added to your damage until it either wears off or you overkill someone again and add THAT kills bonus) and take fire for LONG times before going down (by long time I mean he lasts longer under sustained fire than others and takes most damage average of the characters). Gunzerking is a "okay that's it time to die" button for me and lets you combine deadly combos like slag gun with a fire weapon against bandits or shock and corrosive against anything armored.
Oh, and dual wielding rocket launchers? Absolutely eradicates anything on sight. Bonus points for Overkill skill selected.
P.S. my Axton opinion is short because Axton is BORING to play. Just like Roland was.
I fucking love Salvador, the sheer survivability his Brawn tree provides is almost a necessity half the time and with the right shotguns you can deal so much damage with Gunzerking there's very little that can stand up to you - and you can combine different elements.

All you have to do is put a point in discord... then if you ever accidentally reload you don't lose all your anarchy points and you can quickly stop the drain on them. Plus you can regen HP and stuff with discord too.

Discord is great when you have lots of stacks, the stacks act as fuel for your damage of mass desctruction.

You can do that at the very start. Use CE to get yourself to level 5 and give yourself enough points to max out everything.

I'm by no means an expert, but based on what I've seen, the whole Anarchy tree doesn't really shine until you really start to fill it out. Discord turns reloading into a giant buff at the expense of stacks, the final skill gives you hilariously powerful melees that leech health, etc. until you get there, though, (especially discord), anarchy's kind of annoying. You get ~100% damage but shit accuracy so you should use shotguns but if you don't have a way to regen health (that skill in best friends is okay but 2% isn't enough) you better have a great shield or just not get hit so it's kind of a catch-22.
[editline]1st November 2012[/editline]
On that note, how does this look for a Gaige build? Mostly focused on Anarchy stacks and killing things quickly. DT is mostly an OH SHIT button and a distraction rather than a main damage dealer.
