Wow, really? I still get whites all the time, can't imagine where I'd be without it.

Whoops... somehow broke the textures editing the gun.
I think this happens if you don't apply any texture to a gun. Perhaps you forgot to pick the material?

So hard even the textures are solid.
That video (especially the beginning) gets a whole new meaning when you listen to this:

No, don't ask why I have this video.
I made something. Not sure what to say.

While we're on the topic of modding, here's a couple things someone might be interested in:
Weapons can use either valid or "None" components.
Materials are not necessary.
Maliwan weapons default to Explosive if you don't pick an element.
Weapons without a manufacturer specified won't play your character's reload animation, but will still reload, i.e the mag will float into the gun.
Just throwing this out here.

That might be due to different reload animations for different manufacturers. If a manufacturer isn't specified the game doesn't know which animation to use.

Also worth noting that if you try to add parts from other weapon types, you need to have the weapon in the bank when you load your save or else it will be removed.
So I decided to see just how high I could push the Baby Maker's reload damage with gear and skills:

I think it is safe to say "HANDHELD NUKES".
Just beat the game. They did the same thing in this game as they did in the first one. Easy boss, obnoxious health.
Anyway. I'm level 31. When should I start TVHM?
I jumped in on the Borderlands 2 Mashup five pages late
Also, I used a save editor to give me two Banes on my Gunzerker. WHAT HAVE I DONE I SHOULD NEVER BE ALLOWED NEAR THIS GAME AGAIN
Wow. It seems to be more practical to just chuck Baby Makers than to actually shoot them. Speaking of SMGs, I found a 94% SMG damage class mod for Maya, a slag plasma caster. and a slag damage relic. Things are going pretty well.

Just wait till you fight Bunker in playthrough 2, especially with 2+ people. You don't know the meaning of obnoxious health.

so wait is the babymaker's main damage in reloading? is that the one that chases your enemies around and fires at them?
I watched this video, it said that it's a pretty neat idea to make a save when you are on the final mission to [sp]Kill the Warrior and Jack[/sp] just before you get to it. Find your saves, find that save, make a copy and rename it to something random, that way the game won't detect it. Then make a load of copies of that backup'd save, and rename them to normal saves, eg 'save0009' 'save0010' and so on.
This is because [sp]The Warrior[/sp] will always drop 1 legendary on death, rather you having to farm him for ages, because kills on him after his first death only have like a 1% chance of dropping a legendary.
Just go through each save till he drops the legendary you want (Eg. Conference Call), then ditch all the other saves, and continue with that one
he didn't drop a legendary when i killed him
[editline]4th November 2012[/editline]
Well, I just saw the most terrifying combination of head/skin ever. Zer0 with [sp]Handsom Jack's mask[/sp] and Pink Pandaracorn skin. Jesus christ.
I also did not get a legendary when I killed him the first time.

Or you could just stash it and keep playing with your original one!

My brother and I got Handsome Jack's Mask (Maya) as legendary drop from him.
As in
Aside from the guaranteed handsome jack's mask he dropped it specifically for Maya
I'd use zer0 but i don't really get how his action skill works
seems like it's situational at best

Dunno if it's 100% guaranteed or not, just what the video said.
Speaking of Zer0, I like how his mask gives him that blurred voice, combine that with a really nice and buff shield, makes me think of playing as some dude in a super suit of some sort
edit: Forgot to mention, often the Warrior's drops may fall behind him in small hidden areas, or even worse, rarely into the lava. Sometimes a drop will fall just under a piece of him, where you can't pick it up, but if the piece of body is thin enough, you should be able to stand directly on top of where the weapon is and pick it up. Sometimes a drop might fall under his body out of reach, and possibly non-visible, there's this trick to fast travel out of there, back in through a certain path, and his body will be gone, and all drops still there
Handsome Jacks mask counted as a legendary? How lame.
Especially seeing how it's one of the most god awfully ugly heads in the game.
Especially seeing how it's one of the most god awfully ugly heads in the game.
It looks uncomfortably fitting on Gaige. I'm not sure why. Might be the robot arm.
It looks like a nightmare on zer0, though.
Do I need to beat playthrough 2 for the DLC enemies & loot to scale to 50 or can I just go to Oasis the second I hit 50?
I believe it's the second you hit 50.
Farms Warrior 16 times in a day, no conference call
first online game I join, people are going to kill the Warrior
Warrior drops conference call
No one knows it's there under his 'wing' until I randomly start mashing X to pick some money up there
instantly shit myself
I was just wondering, how Jack is killed at the very end (He's the big bad, you expect him to die, not really a spoiler)
What if he was actually signed into a New-U station, and respawned somewhere far off and escaped?
At first try the warrior dropped ''The impaler''.
was neat-o
