I was just wondering, how Jack is killed at the very end (He's the big bad, you expect him to die, not really a spoiler)
What if he was actually signed into a New-U station, and respawned somewhere far off and escaped?
I'd love that.
Handsome Jack was an awesome character.
i like how you could see his character slowly crack
they did a great job writing him, in my opinion.
I think gearbox did a very good job with Jack's character.
The kind of ''love-to-hate'' relation you have with him throughout the game was very well set up.
For me I like him/hated him in curves. First hated him, then I started to like him, then I hated him again to the end, and then I really started to think about if he was really that despicable.
Simply brilliant.
for the last quarter of the game i kind of started to feel sad for him
i mean he's a massive douche to everyone (especially you-know-who), but he just seemed so...sincere. like he was 100% certain he was doing the right thing. It's hard to write a villain that isn't just AHHH I KILL YOU sometimes, especially in video games.
In his own twisted mind, he actually thought he was the good guy.
He was right, to an extent. There are just so many different ways he could have handled the "bandit" threat.
Jack, and Borderlands 2 in general, is one of the best written experiences I've been able to experience. It deserves to win all the awards.
Also, I hope Gearbox makes a 'design your own Vault Hunter contest', where the winners get to be major NPC's in a future DLC, but if you go the extra mile and create skill trees, action skill, skins and heads you could be an actual playable DLC. Shit would be neat.

It'd be cool to see more Michael Mamaril type characters.
Granted he's special, it'd jut be cool to see fellow Vault Hunters.

imo, Jack had the only good writing, really
The rest just seemed to be mostly references, or forgettable characters

"Cool story bro."
Roland still confuses the fuck out of me because he was the main character I played in borderlands 1 and he sounded and acted nothing like him
"Cool story bro."
The memes didn't bother me at all. Friend of mine just outright stopped playing Borderlands 2 because of the memes, which is just fucking ridiculous. Would I call the overall writing good? No, not really. But is it worthy of quitting the game? Hell no.
so wait is the babymaker's main damage in reloading? is that the one that chases your enemies around and fires at them?
It's the one that explodes twice when you reload, you're thinking of the deliverance.

He switched personalities with Brick. Brick was the more quiet guy that occasionally went crazy, but was overall kinda quiet. In Borderlands 2, he's out going as fuck, yelling all over the place.
Roland was out going and fun, and now he's just "What's the mission report, solder? >:U"
Way too serious.
If you go to the right as you enter Tina's place for the first time where she has the psycho wired to blow, you can see that instead of a mask, or even a face, he just has a cavernous hole in his head. How terrifying.
brick no longer sounds like he's angrily grunting every word and thus i was disappointed by the new va
but it kind of grew on me
still wasn't the old va though
i decided to make a gunzerker
but i will build salvador true to his roots
revolvers only! viva la revolucion!

Think they have the same VA, Marcus Mauldin.
Also, I don't care if I'm gonna be sharing Hell with a bunch of Pedos, Jakobs will always be my favorite. Hope the head of Jakobs makes a cameo in Mr. Torque's Campaign of Carnage.

You're saying Jakobs is your favorite but you can't even spell the name right.

He's probably just in a weird mood the whole game because things are awkward with Lilith!

Also, it's hard to act calm and cool when you're dealing with a megacorporation who could wipe you and everyone you love off the face of Pandora without a second thought.
I feel like Roland would have been more likable [sp]and his death more tragic[/sp] if they didn't change his personality so much.
His voice change is forgivable, because I'm sure there'd be at least one person they couldn't get back.
His lack of emotions could be because he's been given a huge responsibility as the Leader of the Crimson Raiders, but even when reminiscing with the other Vault Hunters he just sounds bored.
Also, I appreciate the fact that he randomly will shout "Nailed it" during battle, but it just isn't the same.
i'm still glad that mordecai and brick were okay
i was so worried
i mean it was kind of unrealistic and they probably should have straight up died, but
oh well

If you mean [sp]the barge falling into lava, you can see it gets stuck about halfway down the chasm.[/sp]

Well technically he acted exactly as you made him act.
I'm suffering from the same problem now that I did in GW2. I have a weird compulsion to pick whatever character looks the coolest. And there are so many skins/heads, it's hard to do. And it doesn't even make sense because only OTHER people will really see how you look.
I've beaten Borderlands 2 9 times, once on both PTs per character except Commando whose 2 PT is under way. After said PT, all characters are level 50.
Am I autistic yet?
no but you have bad taste in how to spend your free time
who cares, there is literally no good way to spend free time aside from working out or something
working out
wow. you are a boring person.
