I made a gun at level 45 in borderlands 1 and never found a replacement...made loot so much less exciting :(

I just like fucking around with them but never actually use them.

Forgot to mention, the Legendary Soldier class mod was only $27000 :v:

So you fire so fast you break the firing sound, you run at 200% speed, you regen 25% shields/second, regen HP when shields are full, and have like ZERO recoil. Plus the mod adds electrocute damage, so if you add a shock mod, it'll do increased impact damage and increased DoT damage. And singularity slag grenades. Oh boy.

Is it a long shot or is the place where you meet Marcus in person in Sanctuary supposed to look like the starting place in Stalker SoC ?
Like with the walls, the theme, the bar-fence-glass thing at the counter and stuff.

I thought Marcus in general was a crack at that.

Marcus always reminded me of Sidrovich even in BL1. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if his store in BL2 is a nod to the trader bunker in SoC.
Now if only he had a voiced line where he says "Not bad...some pretty good stuff you've got there."

at the very least, not without phalanx shield.

I said "tank", not "kill".
And P.shield breaks in one hit from any source at lvl38+. Instead of being similar to Ion Loaders ability.
Why does everyone say the phalanx shield breaks from 1 hit? I use the phalanx shield and it provides cover for about 6 seconds of sustained gunfire from enemies. Don't even give me that bullshit. I use it all the time to cover my teammate while I revive them. And yes I'm talking about level 50. 2 phalanx shields overlapping each other provide enough cover to revive someone and get to real cover.
I rely on my turret so much, it's not even funny. I've gotten a 25% cooldown rate relic, and another 25% cooldown with a sentry +3 class mod. I find myself throwing a turret down so often in playthrough 2 just to see it be destroyed with me along with it. If the turret's health and power scaled to that just a bit higher than the player's natural power, that'd be awesome. Of course, that one skill tree with the 110% health boost helps, but I find throwing the turret into the middle of enemies to watch it violently explode in a nuclear blast much more better than carefully placing it and watching it get destroyed in 3 seconds.

I have a 30% (or was it 35?) cooldown relic I can dupe for you if you'd like. Also people that say the turret gets wrecked in seconds obviously aren't using it as support and instead rely on it. When you throw down the turret throw it OUT of danger but where it has a clear line of sight towards enemies. If you throw it in the midst of the chaos OF COURSE IT'S GONNA BLOW UP.
And as much as I like the nuke 2 turrets + rockets can take out enemies faster.
Zero's an incredible glass cannon. Aim at a crit spot with maxed out crit skillls and it WILL die.
Shoot anywhere else and YOU will die.
Got my Siren to 50. Goddamn I love this class. Reminds me of my old Lilith build. So many little numbers from DoTs.

I had five capped characters in BL1.
... I won't lie, I'm probably gonna do that again in BL2. Especially since I won't end up doubling up on classes if I do that exact number. :v:

A NEW MEAT PUPPET TO WEAR!
It's just so fun to experiment with all the character's playstyles.
The loot gods have smiled upon me, after 8 hours of sitting at the slot machines (Save editor for all the dosh), found a Orange weapon

A friend joined for a while and pissed around, and he gave the slot machine a few spins before tossing nades around then jumping off the edge of Sanctuary, followed by disconnecting. This is what came out just after he ran out the door to suicide jump.

He rejoined, gave me this gun to celebrate, and took his weapon. Of course knowing my best bud, he actually gave me the CC, then disconnected without grabbing his prize. His 3rd connect to my game got this all sorted

It's nice, but I just left it in the Bank, don't want to make anything too cheap just yet.
[editline]7th November 2012[/editline]
Ironic since I used the save editor to boost myself up 21 levels, to level 38, and added skill points to max out all 3 trees
[editline]7th November 2012[/editline]
I mean the 'Don't want to make anything too cheap just yet' part.
I noticed that this game has fallen into the same unfortunate trend as the first one (and a lot of games like it) where a select few specific items are way, WAAAY more useful than any of the other rare ones. It kind of sucks because it means basically the only strategy for shit like Terramorphous people will give you is "Farm for the Conference Call and the Bee, use the Conference Call and the Bee". Other than that you're shit out of luck.

The first one didn't have anything so game breaking as the Bee, but it did have essentially obsolete weapons; why use any fire weapon other than the Hellfire? Why use the Anaconda or Equalizer when you have the Unforgiven?
BL2 legendaries are mostly different to each other thanks to manufacturer differences, but some are still straight upgrades to other.
Apparently The Bee takes this thing called challenge and pushes it somewhere else.

Some of the effects are retarded though. Like the ones which just fire more bullets per burst (fucking Dahl).
I regret boosting most of my characters to 50. I got my Mechro there legitimately, and boosted the rest. But that takes the fun out of it.
I might remake my Siren so I can play through fully. Maya's fun.

Yep. Oh, except the Lascaux, I love that one but actually don't use burst on it very much.

Having played BL2 through ten times, I probably can quote most of the dialogue from memory. Why and how is a mystery to even me.
I don't think I can stand the main story a 5th time, even if they release a new character. It wouldn't be so bad if Scooter's involvement was kept at an absolute minimum. His voice hurts me physically and mentally.
I've noticed two things, since I boosted myself from level 17 to about 40 and eventually hit the cap, Golden Chest items are level 50, scaling with my level, however slot machines are not. Tossing about $700 into the slot machine for it to spit out a half-assed level 15 pistol worth $120 isn't that great.
Vending machines and loot chests also give me weapons of level 15 to 20. Do I have to keep playing and wait for the game to slowly build up the levels to 50?

Are you using save editor? You can set the gamestate to 50 I think.
